Posting this review after visiting the place around 4 times. Discovered this quaint little bakery around 6 months back while looking for a breakfast place in Fremantle. I pride myself on spotting great bakeries, and this was no exception.
They have a wide selection of breads, savoury baked goods and desserts. They also have some great selection of thin crust pizzas slices. To complement that, they boast a great coffee menu and some decent lemonades and kombuchas.
Letās get into it in detail.
Itās not a huge bakery, so the seating is extremely limited, and it can get difficult to eat here if itās a sunny day, but itās bakery food, so we made it work. The ambience is a decent 3.5/5
Now the food. Below are the things we have tried so far:
Almond Croissant: Rich, buttery, flaky and delicious. 4.5/5 Pain au chocolates: Flaky with a some smooth dark chocolate. Could be a little more fresh though. 4/5 Orange cake: Super moist to the last bite. Loved it 5/5 Margarita slice: Crust was nice and thin. Not as well done as I like and a bit chewy since it stays in the display and is reheated. Also, a bit on the oily side. Since I am a pizza fanatic, I will rate this a 3/5 Fruit pie: Good. Nothing spectacular, but gets the job done. 4/5 6: Coffee: Good 4/5 We have also tried their while wheat bread loaf. Itās quite good. 4/5
All in all, itās a solid 4/5 for their food. Try their croissants and baked stuff. Pizzas are a bit of a let down.
The service was also decent. Nothing standout but nothing to complain...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat a congenial, cafe bakery which my wife stumbled on a pop up advertisement top bakery/ cafe list whilst browsing through google news, and driving past south Fremantle. Being cafe dwellers we often are on the lookout for someplace quirky and or interesting ,to explore a new experience. And last Sunday it was exactly what we wanted to seeā¦.The Wild Bakery Cafe. A small and very popular venue with a comprehensive selection of delicious bread loaves large and small , baguettes, croissants, cake assortments, pizza slices, macaroons and of course amazing coffee. The service was impeccable with Sam a pleasant young man and a young lady Hannah a top barista whos choice of background music was excellent. They were both very happy with a welcoming smile with can do attitudes, respectful with a good work ethic in making customer service paramount in their approach and application to customer satisfaction. Thank you so much for an exquisite and satisfying experience at a cosy place to relax and chill. Wishing you all at The Wild Bakery the very best for the...
Ā Ā Ā Read more"Amazingly Made Culinary Bakers Delights" What a sheer fluke finding this little gem of a hidden place was. It turns out we just found WA's MOST EXQUISITE little bakery in South Fremantle! Amazing products all hand made on-site. All their breads and snacks are amazing. They even make the most amazing pizza which looked like it was at least 1M across its diameter! We assumed it was the old American style, you know - take a slice, roll it up into a cone and stuff it in ya mouth, we guess. Incredibly friendly staff and the owners are both really down-to-earth people who really are making some of the best bakery products here in Perth. Incredibly GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE takes only a friendly smile and a great working attitude, and these guys are well on their way. Watch this business grow even larger over the next few years ahead, mark my works! by...
