Open 6 days (not Mondays) 10 - 6pm. Authentic Vietnamese specialising in pho (Vietnamese noodle soups with fresh green leaves, mint, sprouts, lemon juice, fresh chili slices to add if you like, served on the side). In the heart of Morley shops. Also a selection of stir fried dishes and stir fried noodles dishes, assorted specials, stream boats, laksas, rice paper rolls, fresh wraps. Lots of yummy Asian drinks, juices, milkshakes, teas. They cater to dietary requirements - let them know what you can't eat or are intolerant to and they say on their menu they will do their best to cater to you. Nice Prices are cheap. Decor is quite nice. Some nice ambient music playing, not too loud. Quite busy but not overcrowded on a weekday lunch time. You can add extras to you pho/noodle soup - such as tendons , which I highly recommend: soft, dissolving jelly in your mouth full of nutritious collagen and building blocks for your tendons and joints. Also as egg, beef balls, brisket (slow cooked beef shin muscle - tender!), etc. The homemade 'chili oil' paste they brought out on the side with my laksa was DELICIOUS. Possibly the best I've ever had. I really loved it. I'll take a photo. They said it's just fresh dried chili and oil but the flavour is special. There were Vietnamese, Chinese, northern Chinese, Southern Chinese dialects spoken art different tables by the customers. A few Caucasians too. The Vietnamese staff are client in English Thoroughly enjoyed. Layed back, quick, efficient, cheap, yummy, nice atmosphere.

We were a group of 13 people and had dinner at Phong Dinh restaurant. We informed the staff that we had 13 people in our group. The male staff just pointed at the round table and said “over there”. There were not enough chairs for 13 of us. We asked: “so we have to bring more chairs to our table?” The male staff said nothing and walked back into the kitchen area. Bringing the food out to us but forgot to bring fork and spoon out until we asked for them. We felt like they were not welcomed us in to their restaurant. The customer service is very low and very unprofessional. It made us feel like you are the customers if you wanted to eat just come and eat. We don’t need to make you happy. The staff put the cold face when they serviced us, no smiling, no saying thank you when we paid the bill and get out of the restaurant or saying I hope you enjoyed your food or see you again etc… The food was just at the standard not rated like up to 4 and a half stars like on the review. We definitely won’t come back and won’t recommend this restaurant to others. There are many other restaurants around that areas. We will try different ones. We are happy to pay extra where provide better services than Phong Dinh’s restaurant. I hope they read my comments and build up their customer service skills so the business can run better and better.

Situated across another Vietnamese restaurant- Little Viet in Morley. It offers some dishes that you might not get on Vietnamese restaurant menu. There seems to be a fusion of Malay Vietnamese in some of the dishes offered such as mixed vegetable with satay sauce and vietnamese ice kachang (ordered but not available). We ordered a light lunch. Combination stir fry with egg noodle and mixed vegetable with satay sauce and ice chendol as drink. The combo stir fry with egg noodle was delicious. It has that charred smokey flavour. Will come back just for this. The mixed vegetable satay has a confusing flavour. It didn't gel. The satay sauce has that runny satay flavour that has been mixed with too much water or maybe corn starch. Ice chendol was yum. Service was quick, food came out quickly.

Very disappointing, bland food, confusing menu that doesn't list what is in the dish. Tried here 12+ months ago and it was great. Unfortunately the food is tasteless now. My friend ordered Laksa (listed under the "Rice Vermicelli Noodles" section of the menu), she's gluten intolerant so rice noodles are good. I chose the Wonton with egg noodle soup. When it came out my friends laksa had no veggies or anything green at all, it was just a bowl of egg and rice noodles, and some bits of seafood - the whole dish was yellow. Nowhere on the menu did it state that it came with egg noodles (which she can't eat) AND rice noodles, especially since it was listed under the "Rice Vermicelli" heading, so she had to send it back. When the rice noodle one returned, she said it was flavourless. When I tasted it, it was so bland and watery and nothing like the rich spicy coconut flavour you expect from a laksa, it didn't even have enough salt. My wonton soup was small compared to other places, but also had no veggies, it had 1 prawn and a couple of bits of shaved pork and a tiny amount of chives. The stock was also flavourless, a stock cube would've been better. When we went to pay, the woman at the counter was so rude she just abruptly said "30" and that's it, no smile. Would never go back and do not recommend. 2 stars for the sweet teenage boy who served us, but seemed to seriously lack confidence interacting with customers. If you want good, tasty Vietnamese, head...
