3 hours to get our food, rude service (that straight up lied about our order), cold pizza, knowingly served a pregnant woman food that had been sitting under a heat lamp. I’ve been a customer of Marco’s for 20 odd years. The service has always been a bit slow, but I know that’s because they get swamped with orders, but last night was a joke. For context of the following, I was polite and respectful on the phone at all times. SATURDAY SEPT 7TH: 6:40pm - Ordered 2 family pizzas by phone 8:30pm - They said the pizza had “just left the store” and was 10min away 8:49pm - I was told that the order was never “processed” - When I asked why the previous guy said it was on its way, I was told “Oh, he probably just said that”. “So he just lied?” I asked for clarification. “Probably” - He was very apologetic, offered us our food for free, and put me back onto the original guy who took the order. - The first thing he does is try blaming me, saying “I tried calling you three times and you never answered!” I explained that I never received any calls and asked him to read me out my mobile number. He only had 5 digits. - He then said he’d have my order out in 10 minutes. I explained that one of the people eating is 34 weeks pregnant, and it was unsafe for her to eat food that’s been sitting out, and asked if they could cook it fresh. He seemed annoyed, and said he’d put the order through again. 8:57pm - My friend was nervous that they weren’t going to cook the pizzas fresh. I didn’t blame her. - I phoned back, the rude guy answered, so I asked to speak to the person in charge. He pauses, grunts, then says “Yeah. What do you want?”. I repeated my request, and begrudgingly he got someone else. - I explained that my friend was pregnant and just wanted to make sure it was freshly cooked. He then got frustrated and told me that the driver had been banging at my door for 10 minutes, and that the order was only late because I never answered. “It’s a tiny unit. We’ve been sitting next to the front door the whole night. Besides, didn’t you say the order was never processed?” He evaded the question and assured me the food would be fresh. 9:45pm - We’d given up hope (don’t know why it took us this long), and were ordering food from elsewhere when the pizzas arrived. - The top of the pizzas was warm at best. The underneath of the pizzas was cold. The dough was tough and chewy (very unlike Marco’s pizza dough). The crust was dry and like stone. They were clearly old pizzas that were knowingly served to a pregnant woman, after specifically explaining that it was unsafe to do so. I would have taken photos of the food, but honestly, we were so over the whole bs, we just went back to our movie and ate cold dry pizza (except for my pregnant friend who had hot soggy pizza after nuking it in the microwave so it was safe to eat). Beyond disappointed.

Absolutely delicious, fresh, and memorable! I recently tried Marco’s Pizza at Dog Swamp and was genuinely impressed — so much so that I had to write this review. I ordered their eggplant pizza, and wow… it exceeded all expectations. The base was perfectly cooked — light and crispy, not greasy or heavy — and the toppings were fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The eggplant itself was tender, well-seasoned, and balanced beautifully with the rest of the ingredients. It tasted like something homemade with a touch of gourmet — you could tell the quality of the produce was top-notch. What also stood out was the customer service. The team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Even though they were clearly busy, they took the time to greet me with a smile, made sure I was looked after, and had my order ready fast — which is always appreciated when you're hungry! It's not often you find a pizza place that feels this personal and fresh. This isn't your standard takeaway pizza — it’s on the healthier side, with fresh ingredients that don’t leave you feeling heavy afterwards. Highly, highly recommend Marco’s Pizza to anyone in the area — whether you’re after a quick meal or something a little more nourishing without sacrificing flavour. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu!

As a local to the area I've been eating pizza from Marco's for years. I did once truly consider Marcos to be the best pizza in Perth, but I stopped going there a few years back as the quality had turned to rubbish. However, recently I thought I'd give them another go, and I must say, they have improved a lot. Tonight we ordered the 2 large pizza, garlic bread and drink special. They swapped out the drink for another garlic bread and we also got the discount for paying cash, making the deal a red hot bargain. The pizzas were loaded with toppings, tasty, hot, fresh and put together well. In the past we have had some terribly sloppy and skimp topping pizzas, but since giving Marcos another go we have found the pizzas have been very impressive. Price was right, quality was right. Well done Marco's!

I’ve been a customer of Marco’s for 20 odd years. The service has always been a bit slow, but I know that’s because they get swamped with orders, but last night was a joke.

For context of the following, I was polite and respectful on the phone at all times.

SATURDAY SEPT 7TH: 6:40pm Ordered 2 family pizzas by phone

8:30pm They said the pizza had “just left the store” and was 10min away

8:49pm I was told that the order was never “processed” When I asked why the previous guy said it was on its way, I was told “Oh, he probably just said that”. “So he just lied?” I asked for clarification. “Probably” He was very apologetic, offered us our food for free, and put me back onto the original guy who took the order. I did try to face book and sent 2 emails. So i thought id just place this here more as a WARNINGING TO VEG/VEGANS

My partner and I would say different things. He would say the pizza is 10/10 and I agree it is 10/10 quality pizza .. buttttt Just definitely do not eat here if you are a VEGGO and definitely don't eat here if you are a VEGAN. They don't seem to understand the importance of not contaminating veggo pizza with meat.

I ordered a veggo pizza and it came contaminated with Bacon. So I could not eat it. We called and another one delivered an hour later but alas, once again it was contaminated with bacon.

It was obviously a mistake as it was on random bits. Sort of like maybe it got mixed into the cheese mix and accidentally ended up there. How ever after 1.45mins since first order I was left pretty hungry, sad and out of pocket as both pizzas where wasted. I cannot eat bacon!

We don't get to eat out often as life is expensive and we normally don't get pizza but my partner really wanted it so we went for a place that offers Vegan pizzas "surely they won't put meat on a veggo pizza". Why not spoil our selfs this once.

I am greatful you tried to rectify this issue. How ever meat on one veggo pizza? I might understand as a mistake, but meat on the replacement I cannot understand. I put that down to a messy preparation area or laziness or maybe the Friday works where to busy ro care.

My advice would be, keep making amasing pizzas, my partner loved his..... Just PLEASE PLEASE dont advertise veggo and vegan if your going to mix all the meat into the other ingredients. It's pretty insulting and false...

We have been going to Marco’s Pizza for over 20 years now. We have touted that they are the best for over 20 years!! HOWEVER, in the past few years they have got our order wrong more than 6 times! We have always ordered the same order two large - Supreme with extra anchovies and Italian sausage and Hawaiian with roasted chicken and capsicum. Unfortunately when my wife picked up the order, she looked at it to check it, yes they had forgotten the extras again!!!! She said what are you going to do about this? She was responded with a shrug of the shoulders and reduction in price of $10. But the rudeness of the their customer service representative was the crunch!!! No more Marcos for us! They have lost one of their longest and loyal clientele. Unfortunately. They have been going down hill for a while now, the pizzas in some cases look like they have been slapped together and not evenly spread, they forget extras, the pastry has changed to tough un-risen dough! Now rude service people! I am protective of my wife and that does not sit with me at all!!! Such a shame. Thank you for your response Marcos owner, yes I understand that however we have had refunds and remakes way to many times in the past year. It’s annoying to not get what you order. Refunds and re makes do not fix the root cause and issue, if Marcos spent a few more seconds on building a pizza and look at the docket maybe we would stay with you for...
