Mataya Eatery: Review after two visits We have been wanting to go to Mataya for a while, and it finally happened last week (twice) While the cafe/eatery offers outdoor as well as indoor seating, and they have extended the seating area inside by adding Nobu (for events and parties), the place has the warm and friendly vibe of a small, next door cafe. The place always has some people enjoying their food, talking to the staff and just having a good time. So for vibe, it’s a 5/5 A little away from the ‘foreshore action’ and manages to attract just the right kind of crowd. Now let’s talk food. We ordered: 1. Cappuccino: Make with care and precision, it was balanced and delicious. 4.5/5 2. Mocha: Also quite balanced. Not too sweet. 4/5 3. Matcha iced latte: Wife says it’s the best matcha in Mandurah so far, so definitely great. 4.5/5 4. Scrambled eggs on toast: Good flavours, but the eggs were a bit over and the toast was slightly burnt. 3/5 5. Salmon pretzel: Love a salmon bagel and this was better, because pretzel beats bagel 🫣 4/5 All in all, they are doing some great food and drinks. Better than most places. Service was prompt and polite as well. No complaints there. 4/5 Overall, it is a great place! Look forward to going back soon.

Love it, love it, love it ❤❤❤ I was here a week ago, it was Sunday so pretty busy. So many people were in a line waiting for coffee. We ordered Eggs Benny with bacon and Hollandaise croissant and 2 iced coffees. Food came out pretty quickly, only took about 5-7 mins, and they were 10/10. I had been looking for a perfect brunch like this for a long time, poached eggs cooked beautifully. We were waiting quite long for the coffee, but we totally understood, they were super busy for take-away coffee. And when they brought the coffee to us, they apologied and I would like give them more than 5⭐ because of the service. I forgot to say that the coffee tasted really good. I will definitely come back here if I go to Mandurah again.

Mataya was like a home away from home little Cafe with a warm welcome presence soon as you step foot inside... You are welcomed by a set of French doors and a few different seating options are awaiting for you to enjoy a delicious hot chocolate or cappuccino along with home-based Oat slice that just melts in your mouth or be indulgent and get the snickers bar... If you would like something for lunch then you can choose from ham and cheese and tomato filled croissants or a toastie to name a few... If you are after a gift for yourself or for someone else you will have that special something here... Try the sleep balm it is beautiful and will help soothe the mind...
