I recently found myself in a situation where I had to organise lunch catering for 35 people on very short notice. After contacting several places, I was turned away due to the limited preparation time.

Thankfully, I reached out to Miss Maud Café in West Perth, and I was truly impressed by the outstanding service I received. The manager was incredibly friendly, helpful, and well-organised. She guided me through the menu options, helping me select a delicious assortment of sandwiches and cakes for dessert. She even arranged the online order and payment process for me, which took a huge weight off my shoulders.

When I arrived the next morning to pick up the order, everything was perfectly prepared—neatly packed, fresh, and ready to go. The platters looked amazing and were clearly handled with care. My friends were delighted with the catering—everything tasted wonderful!

Front of house staff were courteous but that's where it ended. Food was terrible, the meat on my nachos was pre cooked some time ago and had failed miserably at being reheated in the microwave while melting the cheese on the average "generous"portion of corn chips. The milkshake "with 2 scoops of ice cream " must of been defrosted and scooped out at room temperature because at no time would I have called it a cool drink. Even then the top third was just canned whipped cream so not really refreshing. The misses Caesar salad looked like it was slapped together by a 3year old. When you serve wedged up tomatoes you could at least cut off the green bits and the stalk. Don't get me started on my daughters kids meal. Never going...

On a cold, wet, day, we were looking forward to sharing Miss Maude’s hot Meatballs & mash for our lunch. Unfortunately, they had run out of gravy!! The staff were so lovely, extremely apologetic! We were given the option of ordering something else or having the meatballs without the gravy but with extra cranberry sauce. We opted to stick with the meatballs!
