Seasonal Brewing Co.: A Maylands Destination for Beer and Bites
Seasonal Brewing Co. in Maylands is a fantastic addition to the Perth beer scene, offering much more than just a great pint. It's a vibrant and welcoming brewpub that has quickly become a local favorite, known for its creative brews, excellent food, and a fantastic atmosphere.
As the name suggests, the brewery's strength lies in its constantly rotating tap list and food menu. This commitment to seasonality means there's always something new and exciting to try, from crisp lagers and hazy NEIPAs to more experimental and unique brews. They've even won awards for their beers, a testament to their dedication to quality and innovation.
The food menu is equally impressive, with a focus on locally sourced ingredients and globally inspired dishes. They offer a great range of options, including excellent choices for vegans and vegetarians, which is a big plus. The gunpowder tofu and the vegan flatbread have been particularly praised.
The venue itself is a draw, with a stylish, modern fit-out that includes a spacious bar, a lively beer hall, and an inviting outdoor beer garden with a sandpit for kids. It's a versatile space that's perfect for a casual catch-up with friends, a family dinner, or a relaxed date. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to guide you through the beer selection.
Whether you're a seasoned craft beer aficionado or just looking for a cool spot with great food and a lively vibe, Seasonal Brewing Co. is a must-visit. It's a genuine community hub that consistently delivers a...
Read moreI will give a mid star review because people in the dining area were obviously enjoying the food, and I have to say the cider was divine (thank you!). And there was definitely a happy vibe in some parts of the venue away from the "sound" But my friends and I came along to watch some live music and it was so loud in the room where the bands were, it was physically painful, and I've never had to leave a room almost instantly because of that before (and I attend regular live music events). We could not see the bands we wanted to for this reason. I noticed other people leaving the band room to sit outside, and even heard some of the musicians come out of there saying "I can't hear anything!" and looking distressed. Your staff were kind enough to hand out earplugs and everyone going in wore them but SO DID the musicians on stage to protect themselves. I'm sorry, but there was something very wrong with the room, the layout/setup, the acoustics or the mix for the volume to be so very painful. Going to listen to live music should not require ear protection in a small venue like that. Nor should musicians playing have to plug their ears which then stopped them hearing themselves or band members. It was meant to be fun but it was not an enjoyable experience and quite shocking to think that this is what "listening to live music" entails. That your staff were handing out earplugs, means you are aware of this problem. Please can you reconsider your sound levels or acoustics as we would gladly return for live music if it was possible to be in the same room as the...
Read moreWe booked lunch on the 18th July 2025 for my Mum’s 85th birthday. There were about 14 of us ranging in ages down to teens so we were looking for a venue that would suit a varied age range, a place with a good vibe but not too noisy for the olds. The Season Brewing Co was the perfect choice. The food was great, generous portions and well flavoured. If anything, it was on the spicier side. The squid was delicious albeit spicy, the ribs tender and falling off the bone as ribs should. They were only just warm but still tasty. I had the brussel sprout salad which was a hot dish and came with crispy bacon bits. I asked for a chicken add on which was offered on the kimchi salad but refused when ordering the brussel sprouts (not sure why?) The hot chips were sensational (proper hot chips cooked with the skin on) and the kids all loved their burgers (except for the niece who ordered the chicken burger and found it too spicy for her palate). The price was as expected for pub grub and the service was faultless. If you haven’t been to the Seasonal Brewery, they make their own beer and are happy to give you a taste to see which you like. They also have tasting paddles if you want to try a range of their delicious beers. Overall, we had a lovely...
