Oscar Kebab & Turkish Bakery — Restaurant in Western Australia

I keep coming back. Three years ago I gave a review of Oscars, which is below. I've been back multiple times and confirm it is really good. They've even improved their drinks selection. Great all up. Always clean. Lovely humble staff.

This is what I said three years ago:

Really good. I needed something good to eat on a Sunday afternoon around 3pm. I don't live around Maylands so dropping into Oscar Kebab was pot luck. I like this place, simple, clean and the service was prompt and polite. I've been keen on Middle Eastern cuisine since the 1970s. I ordered a lamb Kebab with tabouli, cheese, hummus and chilli. The Kebab was great. The stand outs were the freshness of everything, the lamb marinade, and the bread. It's was very good value, a big serve and delicious. The lamb was special. I'll be back next time I'm in Maryland's. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because the drink selection is limited, maybe I should have asked if they did a Middle Eastern tea. PS, the...

I think I was the first customer on Saturday morning. Everything was spotlessly clean & the food display looked inviting. There was an attractive lady behind the counter. Tip: only buy from a kebab shop if you see at least one female working there. The senior man who served me asked if I would like the lady to prepare my kebab & I eagerly agreed. I have done a lot of research into this phenomenon: food & beverages taste better when they are prepared or served by an attractive woman. I had a felafel 🥙 kebab with egg, cheese, tabouleh and hummus. Service was fast & it was only 14 bucks!!! Wow! The kebab was delicious & everything was spotlessly clean....

I got stood up on my date, but this kebab was there for me when I needed it the most ... It wasn't long from The moment I told Oscar about the emptiness I was feeling inside at the time, until I felt the warm ( I would say hot as it was straight off the toaster) embrace of my kebab companion.. you filled me with warmth and joy ... And all I have left to remember you by is the onion on my breath the sour cream and garlic sauce stains on my formal chinos, and a slightly greasy ripped wrapper that I threw in the tray of my ute whilst I searched for something to wipe my hands .... Until we meet again .... Soon is not...
