I visited your café on WA Day with my mum to get a coffee. She ordered a flat white with one shot and was abruptly interrupted in an aggressive tone, being asked what size she wanted. The interaction was unnecessarily harsh and set an uncomfortable tone.
I then ordered a long black and politely asked if it could be made not too hot. In response, the staff member laughed sarcastically and implied that my request was ridiculous, suggesting I must not know what a long black is. He continued to berate me, and the exchange became so uncomfortable that I turned to my mum and said I no longer wanted to order due to the way I was being spoken to.
As we left, the same staff member loudly called out “Excuse me” after us and continued to make a scene.
For context, I’ve asked for long blacks to be made not too hot at many other cafés without ever being ridiculed or questioned—it’s a common and reasonable preference. In fact, I went to another café just ten minutes later, placed the exact same order, and was treated with respect and zero judgment.

OVERPRICED! $7.20 for a vanilla slice! What the actual F!? Potentially overpriced due to the logo printed napkins and rude staff.
Coffee; if you would call it that, more along the lines of warm milk with an after taste of coffee.
Hot cross bun- burnt, little to no butter. Got told it was buttered already- had to ask someone else for extra butter to make them slightly more edible.
my son was being a typical 3 yr old and we were on our way out, when we were rudely shoved out the way by a waitress serving coffees to a table and they were apologised to for us being in the way..
Odd experience, didn’t get a good feeling, I should have listened to my intuition and gone somewhere else. I have learnt to listen to my gut and spend my money somewhere else and enjoyed my experience!

Read moreWith COVID-19 being apparent these days it was not for us to clear the table to allow us to have a seat. We waited for the waitress to come and clean it. Begrudgingly she did pulling out a potential dirty cloth and wiped over the table with no PPE considerations. I feel that the sanitisation processes were not implemented in this case the chairs were not cleaned the baby highchair was not sanitised I had to put my grandchild in an in cleaned unsanitised highchair. I think in the current situation we need to have a much better process. The staff were just not friendly at all in fact they acted like it was a burden to be there.
