Where to begin...well - first, Chris you are a legend! Now the straight up facts....I chose to have my wedding reception at Stomp Coffee for a few reasons. Chris, the owner, is the consummate professional and gentleman. He was the perfect balance of straight shooter and warmth you would want helping you plan something as special as a wedding celebration. Thank you so much :-) Close to home (as a Mount Lawley local) and fairly centrally located for visitors to Perth. It had been recommended by others on a social media post seeking ideas from my local community. The setting required almost zero decorating (and thus waste). It is Lush green setting, organic / rustic, with stunning festoon lights at night. It is BYO almost everything, including the alcohol. That gave me the ability to tailor the food and wine experience I wanted for my family and friends - and the bride and groom of course.

Stomp provide the basic set up of the space (which was fabulous) and glasses and staff for serving the drinks. The Stomp staff were absolutely wonderful on the night. All of the guests gave us feedback attesting to this. I must say that Old Laundry did the catering (see my review on their Google listing) and the team they provided on the night were also exemplary. Stomp and Old Laundry work like a well-oiled machine together. What a relief to know they were all working in together beautifully and we could just relax and enjoy our night

I have frequented Stomp for many work and personal catch ups over the years and have loved the place. Sadly though, I had a really poor customer service experience recently which has resulted in me likely never returning. I had a meeting with a new colleague and we ordered coffees - one alt milk and another regular. When we received, we both realised our milks weren't right and we were either given the wrong milks or they'd accidentally switched our coffees and we were given each other's (easy mistake, understandable). When we took them back up and suggested the milk wasn't correct for each, we were looked at in disbelief and the barrista then went ahead and took sips from both coffees and said that they both were right. Like I said, I've frequented Stomp over the years and I'm lactose intolerant so I can tell straight away when the milk isn't right and it happens by mistake often. They were happy to replace the coffees (second ones came out and were completely correct milks) but just such disgusting service for quite a simple mistake. I would have been happy to even pay for the coffees again if it could have saved...

We had our wedding at Stomp Coffee in their garden area and it was the perfect space! The venue is BYO (bonus!) so we were able to get food trucks in to cater, with Stomp Coffee helping out and putting on a grazing board for the start of the night. Stomp Coffee staff ran the bar service making cocktails and serving tap beer, with the venue supplying all glassware and portable bar. Stomp were so helpful in the leadup with alcohol and food provider suggestions and offering advice along the way. It was easy working with Stomp and they were so accommodating. Once we had locked in our vendors, Stomp liaised with them all to ensure a smooth bump in on the day, which was one less thing for us to worry about. The staff were all so incredibly friendly and helpful. All our guests were blown away with the venue and how pretty the garden area is.

Stomp Coffee is a magical hidden space which you must check out! They also do amazing breakfast/lunch and coffee during their normal...
