Went for sushi - treated like an imbecile.
I approached Sushi Hub in the morning on 21/11/23 and placed my usual order of 10 Grilled Scallop Nigri's; then when asked if I wanted anything further, I asked for 6 Grilled Salmon Nigri's.
As I waited by the checkout, I noticed that the young lady who was serving me had placed more salmon in the box than I had ordered. I asked her if that was 6 salmon pieces, and she snapped back and said, "It's 10 like you asked". I explained to her that I had originally asked for 10 scallops and then wanted a further 6 salmon pieces.
At this point, however, she started speaking over me saying that I definitely said the latter. I was in absolute shock that she was speaking at me so harshly - trying to prove her case. After correcting the order, she looked at me and aggressively asked if I wanted to count the amount of sushi she had placed in the box.
I understand that due to the hub's location, this particular staff member might have misheard 'scallops' for 'salmon', or misheard me in general. However, looking over this situation, there was no reason for her to converse with me the way she did, and she could have handled the miscommunication with kindness.
I have never been made to feel like I was in the wrong as much as this particular staff member made me feel this morning...
I didn't realise my Sushi would come with a side of bullying. :(

What I don't like is the fact that there is often two longs lines. You have to queue up to order your food (which they pack in front of you) and then you have to wait to pay. I don't quite understand why there's always such a huge backlog of orders before you can pay for your meal.
Subway has a similar system where you have mutiple people fulfilling orders before a separate cashier rings up your order. Yet I've never experienced as long a wait to pay for my food. It is not uncommon for customers to ask each other if they're waiting to be served only to be told they're...

Unfortunately the staff takes orders quickly from a line of customers then place the sushi into boxes while customers need to wait back in line to pay is a disaster (food poisoning) waiting to happen. The sushi isn't cold when you finally pay for it...5 minutes later. Also the staff doesn't always know who the box belongs to, so further unnecessary handling of the food is required to find out who the box belongs to. Pity... this sushi place was promising. Please bring back good...
