Save your money!! The bottomless seafood brunch was rank for the $300 we paid! Got there and the manager just pointed at our table and said “there” instead of seating us. Our reserved table for two had one chair and was missing some of the glassware and cutlery. The DJ in the middle of the “restaurant” was just ridiculous and not in keeping with the venue. Same music could have been played from a speaker at a better volume so you can hear yourself think. Bottomless alcohol was the package we purchased which didn’t specify that it was only for cheap wine. Before we even had a sip of water we asked for a refund because we knew this place was just off and the manager before even asking what was wrong said no so we felt we had to stay just to get something for our money. The seafood itself was so average. Salmon was dry, crab was just boiled with no flavour added, prawns aren’t deshelled, the oysters thankfully were okay. Went up to get some food (yes it’s not even table service for what you pay) and when we got back our plate of oysters that hadn’t been eaten were taken away along with more cutlery. About 15 mins later a waitress asked to clear a plate, again that was barely touched. No river views as advertised, instead had an awesome view of an intersection. We laughed through this painful experience because it was such a joke but honestly we feel ripped...

I always enjoy dining here but they don't have parking so there can be a bit of a walk from street parking if you can't get a close bay especially in summer when they have the outdoor cinema going. The entrees are quite large so I probably would only have one to share with the bread. The cultured butter and bread is really enjoyable to start the meal with. The eggplant was my favourite starter. The cauliflower with blue cheese was okay but the texture was a bit weird so I probably would give a miss ordering this again. The beef shin and zucchini parcels were also delicious. For main we had the barramundi and I was very full by this point. The barramundi was fresh but I did find it needed something to soak the sauce up with. I think it would be better if they put the dish with mash in order to enjoy more of the sauce. The choice of main is limited to three options barramundi, octopus and beef. They have taken the burger off the menu which is a bit sad as it was really good. It is not on the lunch menu anymore either. Another favourite of mine was the heirloom carrots which are also no longer on the menu. Overall a good dining experience but does feel a little rushed as they bring the mains out straight after entree. I do recommend this restaurant but it would be on the pricey side without an accor...

We are Accor Plus Gold members and decided to give the West Kitchen and Bar a go for Friday lunch. The lobby of the hotel and balcony is very lovely with great views over the Swan River. The restaurant however, overlooks a busy intersection and is devoid of any atmosphere. After being seated at our table in the back corner (there was only one other table there), we asked if we could sit out on the balcony, and ended up having our meal there, even though there were no tables set up for service out there. There was only one waiter working the day we were there, and although he seemed pleasant, the service hit and miss (we were not offered water the whole time we were there). We ordered the oysters (at $5 an oyster) and were disappointed to discover they were Akoya oysters which are a cross between an oyster and a clam and were chewy and fishy. Not very nice at all. But, our bad, as we thought they would be just the normal sort of oysters which are bigger and creamy in texture (rather than chewy). Our mains were ok (the barramundi was the best), but the burger was overcooked. We had to go back inside to order our second drink and then were not offered dessert or coffee at all. Shame, because the outlook over the river from the empty balcony is lovely, but the rest is a huge miss. Finding parking is a...

On arrival I was initially impressed being provided with a drink shortly after sitting down. A nice touch with the string instruments playing (though they didn’t stay for the whole seating for some reason). However, after being seated the table setting was incomplete (missing napkin, random tea spoon, no water until we asked, no drinks menu). Bread and oysters were quick then spend about 40minutes to get our next course, we were unable to order a drink (no menu) and waiters ignoring our empty glasses until we went up to the bar and asked for water and a drinks menu. I don’t blame the staff for the fire alarm going off but the wait times and lack of service in general was very disappointing not sure if short staffed at front of house and kitchen but for a valentine's day promotion I’d expect it to be better prepared.

Nice location with river and city views. The restaurant has an upscale feel. We ate here as we were headed to the Octagon Theatre for a show. The food was okay. The service was also okay. We ordered the tri tip beef and the barramundi. You get a piece of meat and a piece of fish. That's it. You have to buy all of you sides individually to make it a meal. We added the seasonal leaves (just say a salad for goodness sake) and the Sourdough bread and butter. The beef was cooked to my liking and the fish was very good. Drank 2 glasses of locally produced wine (sb and a pinot). Nice. 2 mains, salad, bread, 2 glasses of wine. $134.00. I don't think I'll come back here again.
