Asia Restaurant — Restaurant in Bad Ischl

We were so happy with this restaurant because it’s like we found an oasis in the desert. We were looking for restaurant in Bad Ischl and most of them are not opened because of Boxing Day! We were so grateful they were opened during holidays! The food was fabulous, I really recommend the (red)braised pork belly. Also, nothing as good as a cup of refillable hot Chinese tea in this weather! The lovely lady who works there makes us feel very homely and we Love chatting with her. Lastly, we accidentally left our bag there and the waiter who worked there ran down the street, 5-10 minutes after we left and returned it! Fantastic service, English-friendly. The buffet had a wide variety of very fresh food, cooked with a marvelously adept hand - dish after dish of deliciousness. Delectable fried foods all sizzled to perfect crunchiness without overcooking the middle, made fresh in batches, no laying around.

Divine desserts. I cannot stress this point enough. We are usually picky with dessert, and had low expectations for a lunch buffet. Ended up tasting close to a dozen different options, each one better than the last.

The world would be a better place with more restaurants like...

My first experience at an authentic Chinese restaurant and it didn't disappont me. Having tried the Chicken fried rice and Chicken Noodles I had thought that the authentic Chinese version would be something which I won't be able to eat. But to my surprise when me and my wife were served, we were delighted to taste the dishes. The staff was very friendly. I think i met the owner Mrs Chen who was very friendly and greeted us well.
