I had a very humiliating experience. Tourists, please be careful when paying!!

Since the service wasn’t good, I wasn’t planning to leave a tip. However, the amount on the receipt he showed me and the amount charged to my credit card were different. So I asked, “Is this because of tax?” but he didn’t give me a clear answer and just urged me to pay by card.

Even after paying, I still wasn’t convinced, so I pressed further—and it turned out they had added a 10% tip without my permission. The staff insisted that they had explained it, but despite my repeated questions showing that I found it suspicious, they never mentioned the 10% tip until after they had already charged my card. That’s why I complained.

When I carefully checked the receipt afterwards, I saw that 29.84 euros had been charged to the credit card, and 3.04 euros was written as “change” .

In the end, I got the tip amount refunded, but it was a terrible experience. They didn’t even show the slightest intention of apologizing.

Everyone, please check your receipts carefully and be cautious.

Isn’t this fraud? Taking advantage of people just because they don’t understand the language is truly unacceptable.

On top of that, I ordered Apfelstrudel with whipped cream, but it came with neither powdered sugar nor cream. Even though I specifically asked for it with whipped cream, the reply I got was, “No, we don’t have that.” I am attaching the receipt from that day here.

I had the hot chocolate drink and it arrived in a tall glass with a small packet of brown sugar on the side.

First off, I’ve never seen anyone serve hot chocolate in a glass. It’s impossible to comfortably hold and drink it hot. You have to either hold it with the tissue or wait for it to cool (which defeats the enjoyment of hot chocolate imo). Also, because it’s glass instead of ceramic, the drink also cools much faster.

And if you wanted a taste of Infamous Viennese hot chocolate with the whipped cream and all, this was not it. It just had some foam on top, which was the most disappointing of all, because you’re in Vienna!

And lastly, the hot chocolate was personally not as rich and creamy as I’d like, slightly a tad too much water but it wasn’t terrible, just...

I went to this coffee shop and asked for Iced matcha latte. The man who served me said yes i can do that. And gave me this. Basically he made a hot matcha latte and put 2cube of ice for me. So i asked him is it possible to just mix matcha powder and cold milk for me. He gave me a bottle of cold milk and matcha powder in front of me. And expect me to make it myself.

The way he said to me not rude but his behavior just no words to explain. Tell me this is how you make iced matcha latte.
