Wolfgang Puck Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in Gemeinde Schwechat

Great experience, outstanding service from Marcel!! The restaurant is at Vienna airport. At the front door you can see the menu with the list of prices, which are accessible. Besides that, the restaurant had a seasonal menu with different dishes. There are vegetarian options too.

We started with 1 glass of the chef's own brand of Chardonnay wine and a prepared drink very similar to the mojito, recommended by our star waiter, Marcel, who from the beginning was very friendly and welcoming. We liked both drinks. In a complementary way, the place offered still water constantly throughout the dinner.

We then ordered 2 dishes, rigatoni and roasted pumpkin risotto (from the seasonal menu), both of which were delicious. And we shared a lemon poppy seed cake for dessert (also from the seasonal menu) which was just okay, but we washed it down with an amazing Austrian wine Marcel recommended. I liked it so much that I asked Marcel the name of the brand and the possibility of buying a bottle to take home with me. To my surprise, he not only returned with the physical bottle for me to see but also kindly suggested that I buy it in a wine shop in the city since the restaurant would sell it to me at a much higher price.

To finish, Marcel once again surprised my friend and I with a complimentary coffee. Since I don't drink coffee, he kindly exchanged it for a hot chocolate. And this was perfect to end the wonderful dinner with which we said goodbye to Vienna.

The atmosphere was very pleasant, diners have visibility to the kitchen and the bar. I found the food and drinks to be delicious and very tasty, and the portions are good and leave you satisfied. The background music was hip and included rock songs (bonus points), but at a volume that doesn't interrupt conversation. The prices seemed adequate to me, especially considering that the place is inside the airport. If you haven't figured it out by now, Marcel's attention was exceptional. The next time I land in Vienna I will definitely come back to Wolfgang Puck Kitchen & Bar.

Note: I did end up buying 2 bottles of the Kracher wine at a Wein & Co in Salzburg....

Im very satisfied with this restaurant. I came here for the first time few days ago and today I came back, and I knew this is going to be the only restaurant for me and my family and my friends to come before our flights and even also me and my family decided to come here also when we are not going to take flights just to experience again this amazing atmosphere here. I’m very pleased by the waiter named Marcel. Even the restaurant is already full with positive and relax vibe, he treated me with such an attention and care that he really deserves a praise or commendation for his dedication and care for his costumers. To be honest I did not experience such a nice waiter for a long time in comparison to many different restaurants. The food was delicious and became the only place where I will come for dish while in Vienna. Thank you for having such a care personal because they make your restaurante flourish and prosper. Very good place to spend some time while at the airport. Definitely price is on the higher side, but not too crazy and keeps the restaurant always with space to sit. The food is great, specially for an airport, it arrives warm and flavorful. The pastrami sandwich was really good and satisfying, with the fries actually being excellent. The pizza is satisfying at least. Drinks list is large and interesting with some good wines by the glass. I’d recommend choosing the cheaper options as I got the second cheapest from the reds and I’m Pretty sure it had been opened for a while, as also the waiter recommended me choosing the cheaper options, should’ve listened. Every time I’ve visited service is serious but efficient and effective, nothing to complain about and always present. The only thing is that would be nice to have more condiments on the table or proactively offer ketchup, mustard or mayo specially with fries or a sandwich. But when requested things arrived fast.
