I have been here a few times when passing through Vienna but this one felt bad enough to comment. The coffee is always so so and over priced. But this time they didn't bother to make fresh espresso or milk. I ordered a latte and the goulash. To be fair the goulash was decent if only a bit warm. But the barista didn't even bother to use the machine to make my coffee, and its not like there was someone right before me. Enough time had passed that I recieved a room temperature coffee. They took my money and walked away. I waited by the register to ask how or where I collect the food or if it will be brought to me. With some attitude the girl at the counter says sure after saying something yo someone else and never even looking at me. After hours of traveling I really just wanted a decent coffee. It is very nice cafe to relax before departure. Very good selection of sandwiches and great coffee. Unfortunately, this does not apply to staff. I flew at 15.4. early in the morning. At the cash register, was staying obviously nervous and quite reserved lady. I have complained about my bill, since my goods were billed in addition and I paid by card. The mentioned lady informed me after a short argument with a raised voice that she does not return the money back to the card, and if I want money back, I need to request it by email. She threw me a business card with her name and the position as a restaurant manager, and she didn't talk to me anymore. Another colleague tried to save the whole situation ... ... If someone asks you how long ago the very sad looking sandwiches in your display cabinet were made and you respond with “ten minutes ago” which is a blatant lie as I perused much earlier and the same bleak food items were on display.

If you’re proud of the produce you are prepared to share the world being the only food store open for when an Outback Australian grass air strip even has more facilities and fresh food options then you should be truly ashamed...
