PARKS Bio Fairtrade Coffee & Shop — Restaurant in Graz

The Parks is a nice and cosy fair trade organic coffee shop attracting many of Graz‘ hipsters and bobos. The interior of the coffee shop as well as the patio is stylish and relaxed at the same time. It has this bohemian flair many are searching for.

The coffee shop is located in the hip Zinzendorfgasse, Graz’s trendy center of daytime student life, next to the University of Graz, the main University campus as well as the Stadtpark of Graz, Graz‘ Central Park.

The nice and friendly staff serves you well and cordially at Parks. You feel truly welcome here. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the various tarts, cakes, and variety of yoghurts at the corner tastes organic and the concept of fair trade goes in line with the ethical coffee shop concept of the Parks. The coffee is tasty and the carrot cake is fluffy. Both are delicious.

On working days the Parks opens early at 7:30h and has open till 19:00h (7 pm). It’s closed at Saturdays but open on Sundays from 9:00h till 17:00h (5 pm). And you can spend a while in the Parks since they have free WiFi for you and plugs to charge your devices.

I came here to return my 2 plastic cups and get 2 euros back, because I bought 2 beers at the bar in Zinzengrinsen. I gave my plastic cups and said "2 Gläser". The barman had to correct me by saying "Nein, die sind Bechern". I think he thought he was my German teacher. He probably felt bad serving someone who was trying to learn and speak German with him. Poor closed-minded worker. I told him he is not my German teacher. He replied, "Are you looking for some fun? I don't have time now, but in 2 hours we can" I don't know what to say. I feel...

Wir waren zum Brunchen hier. Das Personal ist sehr nett und um einen bemüht. Die Auswahl am Buffet ist super, auch vieles scheint selbst gemacht. Es gibt glutenfreies Brot und selbst die verschiedenen Kuchen Würfel waren glutenfrei. Der Preis ist etwas gehoben, für die Auswahl an sich trotzdem fair… ABER.. Ich muss es leider leider erwähnen, dass ich als ich mich zu den Tellern stellte angst vor Kontamintation hatte.. Der Tellerstappel war leider absolut nicht sauber, was mehrere Leute bemerkten. Die Teller sahen aus, wie wenn sie erst in die Küche zurück gehen und ich hab mich mehrfach umgesehen (sowie auch mein Partner) ob noch irgendwo anders Teller stehen, bevor wir eines nahmen. Ich hab drüber gewischt, bevor ich etwas drauf gab. Für mich als Zöli ein absolutes Nogo.. Bitte verbessern, wir würden gerne wieder kommen. Ansonsten war die Atmosphäre und alles gut. Wir haben auch noch Smoothies gekauft und mitgenommen, diese sind auch empfehlenswert. Ebenfalls schmeckt der Kaffee und weiße...
