We reached for a buffet meal at 2:15 pm , only after seeing that their promotion board announcing the buffet was outside the restaurant. We got in ( 2 adults n one 4year old), only to be rudely told that the food is finished and we could order only a la carte. The board was hurriedly taken in a while we were discussing. We ordered a paneer dish ( full of color..tasted average) and rotis, rotis had lots of yeast and felt sour to taste. Like in most Indian restaurants, papad and chutney platter was served and we thought it was complimentary, as well as half portion of some rice with paneer gravy( as we were served the same thing in a restaurant in Munich where we asked that we didn't order rice, we were told it was complimentary to serve rice with gravy, we didn't ask his time ). We were charged €2 extra for appetizers as well as rice , both of which we hadn't I ordered! The person attending our table was not only rude when we asked him about this he said you have eaten starters and rice ( the child took a spoonful) so you have to pay, he even told us that we probably left our brains in India !! I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone remotely looking for Indian food and hospitality, the owner walked in at 2:20pm when we were discussing why they can't serve the 3 of us the buffet, just then a group of 40 people walked in at about 3:30 pm for food... Surely they were not served a la carte food, right? Wasn't it in the discretion of the owner or manager to let just the 2 of us have the buffet ? Or at least come to speak politely, or tell the only waiter attending us to be a little easy in front of a child ? This restaurant is definitely not INDIAN and I wish something could be done about people making false claims about Indian food and...

Read moreNearly killed our friend with a nut allergy, and worsened the problem by lying.
When we first arrived our friend was clear he could not have any nuts. The menu has allergen advice and the dish we ordered didn't have any nuts marked. When we received it we noticed a garnish had been added. They at first denied there were nuts and only when pressed did they admit the garnish was peanut slices.
We complained (loudly) and pressed them about whether anything else contained nuts or nut oils. They said no. They then went to make us a fresh dish, which arrived very quickly. Suspecting they had just scooped out the nuts and re served the same dish, our allergic friend did not eat any. Sure enough, one minute later a different staff member ran over and took that dish away, saying it was "meant for another table".
The repeated lies completely destroyed our confidence in this restaurant....
