TONY'S - High quality Pizzeria — Restaurant in Innsbruck

I have already visited Tony's twice and both times the experience was very similar. The food is really incredible, I really enjoyed the pizzas and tiramisu. However, there is a big room for improvement when it comes to the quality of service. It always takes way too long before somebody comes to take our drinks and food orders. It also took forever to have the plates taken away after we were done, even though one of the waitresses was nearby and could see that we were done, she prioritized cleaning the tables where people have already left. Nobody asked us if we wanted to order more drinks or offered deserts (missed opportunity to upsell and make customers happy!!!), we always had to signalize with a hand (which normally I would consider rude, but in this case, it was the only way to draw their attention to us). One of deserts was served at least 15 minutes later than the others and, of course, nobody said a word to apologize for the delay. After deserts nobody came to our table for a good 40 minutes. At the end we just got up as we were ready to pay and leave, but again one of the waitresses was in the kitchen and the other completely ignored us because she was busy with preparing cutlery and napkins. She didn't even bother to say a word to us, until we asked her if we can finally pay. Just a bit of a shame that the waitresses were way too busy/ focused on other things to give us a proper table service. I have worked as a waitress for a few years, so I am totally understanding of the busy situations and I am fine with waiting until somebody is available to come to serve my table, but what I don't understand is when the stuff is consciously choosing to ignore us and is prioritizing the...

It is with a measure of ambivalence that I pen this review of the esteemed pizza establishment. On the one hand, I must commend the culinary prowess of the chefs, for the taste of the pizza was nothing short of delightful. The harmonious blend of flavors, the perfect balance of cheese and sauce, and the delicate crispness of the crust all combined to create a truly memorable gustatory experience.

However, on the other hand, I must lament the exorbitant pricing (22€ for the shown pizza) of the menu offerings. Despite the remarkable flavor of the pizza, the small size of the pie was simply not commensurate with the steep cost. In light of this, I cannot help but feel that the establishment has placed undue emphasis on profit over customer satisfaction, resulting in a rather disappointing overall experience.

It is unfortunate that the premium placed on the taste of the pizza is so significantly offset by the high cost, as it detracts from what could have been a wholly exceptional dining experience. Nevertheless, the ineffable quality of the flavor cannot be ignored, and I would be remiss in not acknowledging the skill and dedication of the kitchen staff.

In conclusion, while the taste of the pizza at this establishment was indeed remarkable, I must nonetheless express my reservations regarding the overpriced nature of the menu offerings. I would recommend this restaurant with caution, and only to those who are willing to make a substantial investment for a truly noteworthy...

Leider war unser Besuch in diesem Lokal eine absolute Vollkatastrophe!!!!!! Wir haben unsere Weihnachtsfeier hier abgehalten oder wollten das eigentlich (mit Gruppengr. 15 Personen, war vorab bekannt gegeben und sogar für mehr Personen reserviert worden).

Angefangen hat alles damit, dass unser reservierter Tisch nicht um die vorreservierte Zeit (obwohl 4facher telefonischer Bestätigung/Absicherung im Vorfeld) verfügbar war. Getopt wurde das dann, indem wir vor die Tür (ca 4 Grad C°) geschickt wurden (freundlich formuliert!!!! Um nicht zusagen rausgeschmießen wurden). Bedeutet: wir durften ca 10min in der Kälte warten bevor wir überhaupt in das Lokal durften. Weiter ging es dann, dass wir im Schnitt 20min alleine auf die Getränke warten durften (Durchschnittszeit), wobei hier dann auch noch das eine oder andere Getränk (insg. 5x Stk) vergessen wurde. Nach wiederum 20min konnten wir dann zum Glück das Essen bestellen. Das tatsächliche Essen kam dann bei VIER Personen überhaupt erst nach gut 1,5 Std Wartezeit. Währenddessen hatten natürlich die meisten anderen Personen schon lange fertig gegessen. Gekrönt wurde das Ganze dann zum Schluss, dass von den 2 Desserts zur Auswahl vom Tiramisu lediglich nur noch 3 Stk zum Bestellen möglich waren.

Alles in allem kann ich absolut nicht verstehen, dass wenn man bereits 1 1/2 Monate im Vorfeld für seine Gruppe eine Tischreservierung macht, dieser Abend dann so abläuft. Ich weiß, Dienstleistungssektor ist eine harte Jobbronsche und es ist schwer gutes Personal zu finden. Hier lagen aber die Probleme eindeutig und ausschließlich im organisatorischen Bereich (welche dann das Personal vor Ort und in der Situation hilflos, überfordert und absolut gestresst machten). Das Essen (sofern man es dann halt endlich bekommt) und Ambiete sind gut, da kann man gar nichts sagen!

Aber eines ist ganz klar: Niemals wieder eine Weihnachtsfeier in diesem Lokal. Der komplette Ablauf war leider wie der Einführungssatz dieses Beitrags bereits beschreibt. Man kann sich vorstellen, wie glücklich die MItarbeiter/innen über diese Weihnachtsfeier untern Strich waren.

Das Lokal selbst hat viel Potenzial, es wäre aber sehr wünschenswert, wenn sich die dafür Zuständigen im Vorfeld über Reservierungen und generellen Ablaufskonzepte nochmals Gedanken machen würden.

Bewertungsgeundlage:

Essen 3= Essen selbst sehr gut, aber Wartezeit bis zu 1,5Std versaut dir leider jegliche Stimmung darauf- vor allem wenn andere bis dahin schon komplett fertig sind Service 2= aber auch nur, weil man ihre Verzweiflung und Hilfelosigkeit förmlich im Gesicht lesen konnte. Hauptgrund der schlechten Bewertung: Kunden, die einen Tisch reserviert haben vor die Tür zu schicken, finde ich absolut nicht ok!!!! Zudem lange bis sehr lange Wartezeiten für Getränke & Essen -Ambiente 5= das Lokal ist wunderschön und sehr sauber. Eigentlich ein idealer Ort, um Auszuspannen und Zeit mit seinen Freunden...
