Unfortunately, around half of the cake assortments were sold out when I was there around 15 pm. Luckily I managed to get the signature pistachio cake 🤤 And, I also tried their strawberry matcha, which was also good but too sweet for my taste 🤷♀️
Other than that, I had to repeat that my order was for take away 4-5 times because the waitress who got my order keep forgetting 🤦♀️ She gave me almost each piece as if I was going to eat there: first the cake on a plate, I had to ask for something to cover it. Then, I had to ask for a beg to take my order with me. Afterwards, she gave me the coffee without a lid. Then, I asked for one. 5 minutes after I left, I realised she didn’t put a wooden fork inside the bag and I had to go back again, apologise all the people waiting for the queue to grab a fork on my own.
Another thing worth mentioning is: „Get ready to wait!“
I had to wait in the queue around 20 minutes to grab something. If I wanted to eat there, I guess I would have to wait minimum an hour!
Except the waiting time and extremely forgetful staff, everything was fine tastewise. In my opinion, the owner should either increase the number of employees working at the same time at least for rush hours or decrease the working hours of each employee and make their shifts shorter. In this way, they can work more efficiently and can remember if it’s eat in or take away without 4-5 times of...
Read moreI was in Karaffu already a few times and really love it. The coffee tastes really good and i like, that they have the coffeebeans from a local roastery. As i like my coffe with oat milk its also nice to see, that they don´t charge any extra for that! My favourites to eat are the brownies, cheescakes and of course the Pistaccio croissant (Better come befor midday as they just have a limited amount of them ;) ). The Staff was always nice and friendly to me, and they answerd all my questions i had on the cakes. But as there is mostly a bit of a line to wait (totaly worth it all the time :) ) they can´t spend to much time on one person as they have to go on because they have to go on to serve the other guests as well. And if you are a bit patient you will also get a seat to enjoy your drint and food there in a nice atmosphere. All in all karaffu never dissapointed and i always enjoyed my cakes and coffees. I am already Looking forward to my...

Me and my family were there, when this cafe was not even officially opened yet. We found it accidentally just by walking down the street and immediately stayed, because everything looked just so attractive and delicious. When it was time to pay, barista told us: "We're not officially opened yet, so it's our gift to you. It's totally free and you don't have to pay for anything, we're just gonna be grateful for the recommendation". We were so shocked ahahah, never experienced something like this in our life. It was also funny to look at other people's reactions, how surprised everybody was. But most of them, including us, left tips, because everything was too good not to be rewarded!
The food and coffee were so incredibly delicious! I took pistachio pie and I swear to God it was the best pie I have ever tasted!
It was my first time in Innsbruck, but I'm already dreaming of coming back just for the sake of this...
