We saw the high ratings and chose this restaurant as our dinner location.

Actually the environment was fine, except that we could only communicate in German. After ordering, the owner told us that drinks were mandatory and we had to order more drinks, but the dishes that came were not clean and had some stains, which did not improve even after we asked for a replacement.

The meal was quite large, but almost tasteless, the shrimp my companion ordered was not bad, and the mousse as a dessert, the bottom of the mousse has been integrated with the plate, we think the taste is very strange, and the check, the boss will charge you 20% of the service fee!

On the issue of drinks being mandatory and the 20% service charge we did not see these provisions in the restaurant menu or in any notices.

Thank you very much for your reply, we did ask for a replacement of the cutlery but you did still have the stains after replacing it, the photo is mainly to help you serve a large meal, thank you.

The dessert was a tiramisu and apart from the mousse on top the bottom was completely stuck to the plate, our point was about the drinks being compulsory and the 20% service charge which we did not see on the menu or in the restaurant prior...

AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS……,menus all in Italian no English at all.Was asked if we wanted a starter, wasn’t that bothered but the owner offered us a sharing platter for 3,though there were 5 of us, which we accepted reluctantly and got charged about €65 for,good job we didn’t get it for 5.We decided to have a bottle of Rose of which we had 2,not thinking to ask the price was just put on the table at €69.95 each.When I asked at the end that all we wanted was house Rose to be told we only do white or red at €20 a litre,again not given the option.We had 4 pizzas and one special from the board….the bill came to €307 for a average pizza meal and 2 bottles of wine,and guess what,their card machine was broken and would only accept cash…..we have warned the hotel about this restaurant as well,and they are going to inform their guests.The worst restaurant we had been in, in Salzburg,we will definitely not be going back...

Päälyimme seurueena illalliselle tähän paikkaan pelkästään lukuisten googlearvioiden johdosta (keskiarvo yli neljä, mikä on mysteeri). Se oli virhe.

Ravintolassa tarjoilija puhui tilausvaiheessa kanssamme saksaa, italiaa ja myös sujuvasti englantia.

Viiniä valitessamme hän esitteli vaihtoehdot seurueen yhdelle henkilölle erikseen viinihyllyn luona, jolloin vastuu valinnasta jäi vain yhdelle (muut eivät kuulleet, mitä tarjoilija kertoi).

Ruokailtuamme alkoi useiden vastaavien ravintolan kohdalla toistuvien google-palautteiden esimerkkien kaltainen teatteriesitys, jossa:

-”kassapääte oli yllättäen juuri nyt rikki, vain käteismaksu kelpasi”

-tarjoilija kertoi kertoneensa viiniä valinneelle seurueen jäsenelle kuulemma hinnan 69 euroa, mitä hän ei kuitenkaan tosiasiassa ollut ollut tehnyt (valehtelu)

-tarjoilija kertoi, että koska me emme puhu saksaa ja hän puhuu vain huonoa englantia, emme ole ymmärtäneet viinin olevan niin kallista (viinissä noin 40 eur ylihintaa), kieliongelmia ei ollut tilausvaiheessa

-koimme tilanteessa voimakasta vähättelyä ja painostusta, osa seurueesta lähti kävellen hakemaan käteistä automaatilta

-pyysimme viinihinnastoa nähtäville, edes liitutaululla, mitä ei kuulemma ole, koska ”hinnat muuttuvat kovin usein”

-kun olimme esittäneet vasta-argumentteja hinnoittelusta, tarjoilija sanoi voivansa kohtuullistaa laskua 40 euroa, mutta vaati, että ”tästä välikohtauksesta ei saa sitten kirjoittaa roska-arvioita googleen

-jollei tilanne olisi ratkennut hinnan kohtuullistamiseen, pohdimme kutsuvamme paikalle Itävallan paikallispoliisin partion, sitä ei tällä kertaa tarvittu

Lopputulemana arvioisimme, että ravintolassa harjoitetaan systemaattista harmaata taloutta, palveluita myydään ohi kirjanpidon ja painostamalla asiakkaita maksutilanteessa luodaan epämiellyttävä ja ahdistava tunnelma maksun nopeuttamiseksi. Osa henkilökunnasta koki omistajan käytöksen ilmeisesti häiritsevänä ja nolona, heitä kävi sääli.

Olisi tärkeää, että Salzburgin veroviranomaisilla ja harmaan talouden vastaisen yksikön väellä olisi resursseja puuttua tällaiseen kaupungin mainetta vaarantavaan toimintaan. Meillä päin tällainen on rikollista toimintaa.

Toivottavasti tähän palautteeseen ei ilmesty jatkoksi ko. ravintolan selittelevä vastaus, jossa tapahtuma ja uskottavuutemme...
