Our twin room, though compact, felt incredibly cozy thanks to its optimized use of space. While a short walk from downtown, the excellent access to buses and trolleybuses right nearby made getting to the city center or train station a breeze. We loved having grocery stores and restaurants within easy walking distance. The area itself is quiet, and with the double-glazed windows, outside noise was virtually non-existent. A significant bonus to our stay was the Salzburg Guest Mobility Ticket, which was provided at no cost through our hotel registration. This allowed us to use free transportation throughout the entire Salzburg province. This hotel offers a streamlined, automatic experience with self-check-in, which we found quite efficient. Interestingly, we had the pleasure of meeting one of the hosts upon arrival. He was incredibly kind and provided invaluable information about the facilities and some fantastic sightseeing suggestions. The daily little treat from a local bakery left outside our door was a delightful surprise each morning! Having a free coffee bar and complimentary snacks available all the time was a fantastic perk. Inside the room, we appreciated the convenience of a kettle with tea bags and mugs. The beds were comfortable, the room was spotlessly clean, and there were plenty of power outlets (including two right by the bed), which is always a plus. The bathroom, though small, was modern and featured a great shower. For future enhancements, a small note for guests with mobility concerns is the absence of an elevator, though ground-floor rooms are available. Additionally, our room (number 4) had a subtle, peculiar smell that we couldn't quite place, even after airing the room out. Finally, while the room is compact, considering a second seating option, perhaps a small stool, would be a welcome addition for guests who prefer not to always sit on the bed. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and highly recommend this hotel for its location, thoughtful amenities and...

Cute little place. Conveniently located near the bus stop. It took me under 15 minutes to reach the hotel from the train station. Very neat and clean. I requested Andreas to give me a room on the lower floor and he changed it immediately. I stayed during end of December. Great view from my room window. Very tasteful and modern decorated room. Air conditioning worked perfectly. Comfy beds. Andreas is very helpful. Every time I asked him for something he gladly helped me out. With the directions or questions about the markets etc. I was travelling solo. Felt very safe there. Amazing coffee machine and varieties of yummy coffee with sweet treats. The morning breakfast treat was an absolute bonus. Yummy breads. Very filling. I was travelling to see the Christmas markets. Had an amazing time in Salzburg. Beautiful city and the people are warm friendly and helpful. Please note Christmas markets asked for cash for payments. Salzburg for Christmas markets are only place during my entire trip in Europe which did not accept cards. Other than that, all the stores, eating places, etc. accept card payments and online payments.

Had a wonderful stay and time.

Disliked · Nothing really, except a few times there would be a foul smell from the toilet. I guess some sewage problem. Which I read is...

The hotel is in a good location, 20 minutes walk from the railway station and 15 from the city centre. ||It's a 'staff-free' hotel. You get a code to get in and a WhatsApp contact if you have any problems. There's free coffee and fruit tea, plus chocolates and sweets, but no normal (breakfast) tea. ||The booking is room only, but you get a random pastry left outside your room each morning, which is a nice touch. ||We had room 3 on the ground floor. The view out of the window is of the back door of the kitchen of the Indian restaurant next door, but we didn't have a problem with noise or odours from there.||The decor is very nice.||The only problem we had was that one of our sheets was stained. This wasn't a fresh stain, the sheets had been washed but this stain hadn't come out. It took a couple of tries via WhatsApp to get this changed. Otherwise,...

Stayed two hours, then left. It calls itself Amadea CityHotel. IT is not. It’s a set of unstaffed rooms with a key-code box out front. Room 3 has a single window just 10 feet from neighbouring restaurant’s open kitchen — noise, odours, poor ventilation, no sanctuary.... Unbearable. I demanded a refund.Got it. Left.
