Wants to share our pathetic experience at this hotel. We stayed here for three days dated 11 April to 14 April. Hospitality zero, very rude staff , room stinks due to old rustic carpets I will explain with three horrible experiences we had at the hotel .. worst one first , I am still shaking by thinking about the incident.. on the day we leaving in the morning I .e 14 April .we had early morning flight .. breakfast opens at 6.30 .., we placed order for vegetable omelette to a guy on duty Tarun ,(everyday we were giving the same order , it used to take 10 min max ) That day it took more than 15 min , our omelette didn’t come but we didn’t mind , it happens . Just then our cab came and we told to cancel our order as cab had come .. that guy Tarun chased me till door and told me you should have come early , I said breakfast opens at 6.30 am how come we could come early .. next line what he said is beyond imagination, he said you are Indian that’s why you are showing this attitude and further said I am also Indian .. I said I didn’t ask for your nationality and you have no right to pass such racial remark. This is totally unacceptable. We have traveled all over the world but never had such pathetic experience
2 nd experience There was no milk and English breakfast tea sachets in the room . We had understood they have no room service, I myself went to the reception for milk and tea sachets, they sent me to the restaurant area which is beside bar, restaurant was closed .. so again I went to reception they again sent me to the bar guy and ask ,bar guy was so annoyed , he told me to come later but when I insisted he gave me two kits . I kind of felt as I am begging .Bar guy suggested you come at 6.30 am I the morning to get more tea sachet .. morning my husband went little early to the restaurant at 6.15 am , guy on duty was having his coffee, when my husband ask for tea kit he replied we should respect his time .. horrible isn’t
Only one girl named Gana at reception was very sweet and cooperative Please don’t go to...

The room we originally booked online ( looked new & fresh) looked nothing like our room we got, ours looked run down & old. So to begin with the rooms were extremely dirty, thick dust all over the carpet / skirting board. Our bin had no bin liner in it & the bin had stuff all over. Hairs all over the carpet, marks all over the wall, the headboard had also seen better days. The shower hole kept getting clogged up due to not being cleaned so everytime you had a shower the water was filling up. Every 30 minutes there was a tapping noise coming from the bathroom. The fridge light kept flickering off & on. 2 plug sockets wouldn’t work. Our room was located next to the main road and a car wash / charging port and a walk way which meant it was constantly loud. The room was EXTREMELY stuffy without the heating on which meant we constantly had to have the window open which was frustrating. Our room was also located right infront of the lift which meant we constantly heard people throughout the night in our room due to the walls being paper thin and you can hear everything. Doors slamming every 2 minutes & you can hear conversations from people next door. Also did not realise they allow pets to stay at this hotel.
Extremely disappointed with our stay & unfortunately definitely would not stay here again. For the same money / a little more you can definitely get somewhere...

The room was clean and spacious, suitable for two people. The bed was comfortable, and the view from the room was decent. The lack of toiletries was a downside, but the availability of coffee and tea made up for it to some extent.
The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, which makes it easy to explore the area. However, the hotel does not offer many amenities beyond the basics.
Overall, I would recommend Dorint City-Hotel to travelers who are on a budget and looking for a simple place to stay. The availability of coffee and tea in the room is a nice touch, and the location is convenient for exploring Salzburg. However, if you are looking for more amenities or a luxurious experience, you may want to consider...
