Sempre — Restaurant in Salzburg

The food was decent enough. Not worth coming back, but also not terrible. Although they should have taken it easy with the decorations. I had the "Vital Frühstück" and there was coarsely ground salt and powdered sugar all over the place. I don't really want either of those on my mozzarella, thank you very much.

Had it been only that, this would probably be a decent three star review. Unfortunately, the service was terrible.

First off, the waiter was not particularly friendly and stressed out, despite the place being all but empty. He seated us, a party of five, on a table almost too small for even four people, given the ludicrous size of the plates (which we didn't know at the time). They then had trouble fitting five plates (no side orders!) and what should have been a relaxing breakfast became an uncomfortable mess.

On top of that, they forgot the yogurt for the muesli (as well as the spoon while they were at it). I didn't realize this until we were practically finished and when I pointed it out the waiter snarkily offered to get it from the kitchen. No "sorry", no "my apologies, can I get you an espresso?", nothing.

Bottom line: I can't speak to their lunch or dinner, but far as breakfast goes you should avoid this place. Salzburg has much, much better...

Great atmosphere, stylish interior. However, as often mentioned previously: Two main problems: (1) The staff is just a catastrophe - every single waiter was lazy, bored, and particularly unfriendly. Not a single smile, rolling their eyes when one of us changed his wishes during orders, not one inquiry if we liked the food or wanted something else. These people NEVER smile when treating customers. I was totally surprised when some of the waiters suddenly showed super friendly faces and smiled - when one of their colleagues arrived. They really try everything to make you feel uncomfortable! My friend ordered espresso affogato - and they did it with BLUE SMURF ICE-CREAM!! What an insult! (2) The food is mediocre, not good, not bad but visibly cheap ingredients- and heavily overpriced. Small burger for 18,95 Euro (!!), Pizza rucola (with no-taste rucola and strange rectangular pre-produced Parmigiano chips, see photo) 15 Euro. For the pizza and one soft-drink I paid 20 Euro, so they charged 5 Euro for the Soft-drink. And just as reported before: Only cash, no proper bills - I think we all know...

Am Mittwoch, den 18. Mai, gegen 22:00 Uhr besuchten meine Freunde und ich dieses Restaurant. Zu sagen, dass wir enttäuscht waren, wäre eine Untertreibung. Am Eingang wurden wir von einer Frau begrüßt, die in ihr Handy vertieft war und uns einen Tisch zeigte, wo wir uns setzen konnten. Daneben stand ein Kellner, den wir ebenfalls fragten. Er empfing uns sehr unhöflich und war äußerst unfreundlich. Er setzte uns an einen schrecklichen Tisch, obwohl ein viel besserer Tisch in der Nähe frei war und nur ein anderer Tisch im Restaurant besetzt war. Wir baten darum, umgesetzt zu werden, woraufhin der Kellner demonstrativ genervt seufzte und zustimmte. Anschließend kam er sofort, um unsere Bestellung aufzunehmen, ohne uns überhaupt eine Speisekarte zu geben. Wir saßen gegenüber der Bar, und auch der Barkeeper starrte uns unverhohlen an und schüttelte ständig den Kopf abfällig. Wir waren empört. Mein Freund ging, um sich bei der Frau am Eingang zu beschweren, doch sie sagte ihm, dass sie nicht wisse, was sie dazu sagen solle. Dann wollten wir die Rechnung bezahlen, und mein Freund sagte dem Kellner selbst, dass wir gehofft hatten, eine gute Zeit zu haben, aber stattdessen fühlten wir uns sehr unwohl und unser Abend war ruiniert. Der Kellner antwortete nur mit "Okay". Ich hoffe, dass Maßnahmen ergriffen werden, denn das war einfach schrecklich. Wir fühlten uns wie Menschen zweiter Klasse.

В среду, 18 мая, около 22:00 мои друзья и я посетили этот ресторан, сказать что мы были расстроены не сказать ничего, на входе нас встретила девушка сидящая в телефоне, за столиком, показала что можно сесть где угодно, следом стоял официант, мы спросили у него тоже, он встретил нас очень грубо и был очень не приветливый, он посадил нас за ужасный столик, хотя рядом стоял стол намного лучше, при этом в заведении кроме нас был только один стол с гостями, мы попросили нас пересадить, на что официант показательно вздохнул со злостью и ответил что да, потом он сразу же пришел принимать заказ, даже не дав нам меню, мы сидели напротив бара, и бармен тоже постоянно смотрел на нас в упор с призрением постоянно качал головой, мы были возмущены, мой друг пошел жаловаться к той девушке которая сидела на входе, в итоге она сказала, что она не знает что ему сказать, потом мы хотели оплатить счет, и мой друг сказал самому официанту, что мы рассчитывали хорошо провести время, а в итоге нам было очень некомфортно и наш вечер не удался, на что официант ответил «ок», надеюсь будут приняты какие то меры, потому что это было просто ужасно, будто мы...
