Pizza is great, other food is average and the service is diabolically bad...........it can be friendly but it is only attentive if the place is empty.

Our operator (Ski World) said they would no longer advocate it to their guests but we shall see.

From the experince of all in our chalet I can say DO NOT BOOK, go in and try your luck, that's it ! Other than that, steer clear of the place.

If you call up, you have a 1 in 20 chance of the booking making it into the book that they have EVEN IF THEY READ IT BACK TO YOU ON ANOTHER PHONE CALL. I actually called up to double confirm a party of 8 booking twice due to the experience of others who said they booked days ahead only to get there and find they were not in the book at all........well the same happened to us and others the last time I went.

It was a stark contrast from the previous time we arrived at the near empty restaurant; this time the service was shambolic, everyone running around but nothing happening......an illusion of busy-ness

Despite our booking being absent from the book, they did manage to seat us in 20minutes. We ordered a singe drink each as well as our meals and then the staff left us alone for an hour........no meals and no "would you like ot order another drink while you wait" for 1 hour an 05minutes.

Finally, the first meal arrived at around 1hr 10min, a terribly presented chicken penne. I walked to the kitchen to ask about everyone elses meal, the incompetent bald Italian manager (who is a bonifide moron) was in his usual smiling and in a rush to do nothing mode and had no idea so we all just walked out.

We crossed the road diagonally to Restaurant Fuhrmannstube where we were served promtly with a smile and great service.

Others from our chalet with their own bookings gave up, and two guys switched to a takeway which worked well for them......they seem to prioritse takeaways.

Inly go to Dolce Vita for Pizza.......and if it is empty, else order a takeaway as you will receive quicker service...

We called in advance to order 2 pizzas and a mixed salad and were told to pick up in 15mins. Unfortunately, it seemed that the order had been forgotten and so the order was ready 40 mins after I arrived to pick up. The restaurant apologized and offered a complimentary limoncello.

Upon receiving the order I left immediately as it was much later than expected, only to discover that the mixed salad costing EUR9.90 was one iceberg lettuce leaf shredded, two small segments of tomato, two slices of cucumber, a few Ricola leaves, a small tablespoon of shredded carrot and a dozen sweet corn kernels.

Pizza was good, fair amount of topping and good crust, but we can only hope that the salad was a mistake and they can’t possibly be charging that price for what is provided.

Three stars as a result of forgotten order and poor quality vs...

Terrible service. Waiter abrupt and we kept having to ask for cutlery. They charge 2.90 for tap water, but even worse, they charged 4.90 for 3 small pieces of butter! Asked for medium steak with fries, got it well done with spaghetti. Asked for it to be done again, but got the same again - well done with spaghetti. The pizza was mediocre, not what I'd expect from a traditional italian. Brought up the steak issue and said not happy to pay for this. Bill was 360€, but they refused to offer any discount on the bill. Apparently the manager was not available. In the end the chef came out. Made a big scene and gave us 15€ out of his wallet. This is not how you deal with legitimate customer complaints. Place was overpriced, not great quality and poor service....

This restaurant is awesome! We came twice in a row on our trip. The food was just as good as most places in Italy. The espresso after dinner was perfect. The tiramisu is homemade and delicious as well!! The owner (we think he’s the owner), was so vibrant and constantly walking around to tables and checking in on the guests. We felt very welcomed. He even remembered us on our second visit. All the servers were attentive and pleasant. If you want customer service, this is the place to be. You don’t have one set waiter, everyone is ready to serve at all times. There’s an unspoken yet fluid way of communication between the servers. Definitely come here after your long day of skiing! Enjoy a glass of wine, tasty meal, and the ambiance!

This is a lovely restaurant hidden away in a less busy part of St Anton. We've come here 3 times in a single holiday - the food was yummy, there's several vegetarian options (the gnocchi toscana are particularly delicious), and the service was exceptionally friendly and courteous. Pictured is the delicious Tartufo dessert. Loved it, will be back again.
