Akakiko | Sushi & Asian Fusion — Restaurant in Vienna

Usually I don't write reviews but this one I will take my time and warn future guests. We were in Vienna for a couple of days and in mood for some Asian food. Since we lived in Asia some years we know how the food supposed to taste. Here at Akakiko is nothing like this. The food is almost tasteless and worst of all, one dish is just cup noodles with some duck slices. For a price around 13€ it was just incredible. How can you call yourself a restaurant when you just offer cup noodles? Especially for this price? For me is this just a no go and also the reason for this review. I liked cosy and quiet atmosphere, great for relaxed talk with friends. Food was not really what i expected, maybe i was wrong with expectations, because when i am in an Asian place and i read tuna in menu, i expect bigger pieces of tuna, but not "canned" tuna mixed with sauce on top of roll. Maybe i will need to get back to try some other dishes, as i really liked the atmosphere) P. S. Just a note: It is always confusing and very unpleasant when waiters try to tell us a few russian words..., as we are Ukrainians and we speak Ukrainian. If you can't make a difference between russian and Ukrainian, no issue, speaking English to us is much better...

facilities were really nice so we had hope this would be a pleasant meal, but the red curry and cashew chicken were subpar and the waiter was really rude. quite a brutal experience honestly, him and the cook were arguing and swearing so loudly and he was just so blunt and forceful when taking and delivering our orders. when the meal finished we tried to wave him down to pay but he wouldn’t even look in our direction as he was too busy arguing with the cook. so we had to walk up to kitchen to even get his attention. way too expensive for the quality of food and the unpleasant experience, would not recommend...
