From the heart of Vienna, Piazza Colombo emerges as a culinary gem, masterfully blending the essence of Italian pizza with Austrian charm. As a regular patron, I've had the pleasure of experiencing their exquisite pizzas, a testament to their commitment to quality ingredients and authentic Italian flavours.
Each visit to Piazza Colombo is a delightful journey. Whether I'm unwinding after a busy day with colleagues or sharing a romantic evening with my girlfriend, the ambiance here never fails to impress. The restaurant's adaptability to seasons, offering creative pizza variations, keeps the menu exciting and fresh.
A standout favorite of mine is the Salsiccia & Friarielli pizza. It's a culinary voyage to the streets of Napoli, capturing the essence of the region with every bite. The rich, flavorful salsiccia paired with the unique taste of friarielli creates a harmonious blend that dances on the palate.
Adding to the exceptional dining experience is Michele, our favourite waiter. His extraordinary friendliness and hospitality elevate our visits, making us feel not just welcomed, but truly cherished. Michele's attentiveness and warmth bring a personal touch that intertwines beautifully with the delectable meals.

Read moreOh my goodness!! Incredible experience. Will be visiting on the first night every time I travel to Vienna. I arrived to Vienna Central Station on a Friday night as a solo traveller. A group of four locals who I met on the train told me I HAD to try this place. So I made them a promise I would go immediately 😀 The food was simply amazing. I had the buffalo caprese and the truffelito pizza. Both were incredible and made with the freshest ingredients in traditional and rustic Italian style. The service was perfect. All of the staff were friendly, respectful, knowledgeable, attentive and all seemed to be really enjoying their work. I can only provide my highest recommendations. And I am already thinking for myself about the next...
Read moreThe pace has great atmosphere, it is well decorated and cozy!! We visited Piazza Colombo late night at our last visit in Vienna after an all day trip to Hallstatt! We were starving so we ordered a pizza, a carbonara and a Caesar salad, as well as two Aperol spritz’s! Pizza was good, Spaghetti was okay but it was with bacon and not guancialle, which is a minus for an Italian restaurant and last but not least the Caesar’s salad was unacceptably salty and dry. The chicken was well roasted and tasteful, but it was the only decent ingredient in the salad! Drinks by the way were super! Overall, I think that it deserves a second chance and because I live in Greece, you can give it a chance and I’ll be glad if you refute...
