Aubar Garden — Restaurant in Vienna

This bar is a mix of cafe and pub. The interior is newly made and quite ok. Drinks are not special, but if you like shots you can choose from a huge variety. As a woman, I doubt that I would feel save as the guests are mostly young men. A very serious issue is that the staff does not follow the current Covid-19 regulations: They only wear sometimes a mask, sometimes it's not covering their nose. And they still do handshakes with the guests. Also the guest do not behave appropriately during this time: Bro handshakes for everyone, on top of a warm hug for every dude. We immediately left this bar as the subjectively felt risk to get infected is very high...

Bottom line: if you need to relax for a short while, that's the café/ bar to go to.

Relaxed outdoors space. Decent espresso (although I prefer lighter roast of beans). Delicious fizzy drinks. Welcoming service.
