Café Journal — Restaurant in Vienna

A beautiful place I am glad I discovered, just one minute from my accommodation. I enjoyed the creamy and decadent tiramisu (best I've ever tried, actually), an amaretto and pisco sour, and the lovely jazz and old school music playing while I wrote for two hours. Very lovely ambience and vinyls on the wall. I checked some of them out on Spotify, and I appreciate the music exploration opportunity. The staff were friendly, although I wondered if maybe they could have come to the table to take orders or at least check if everything is okay? Best in class service I had so far in wiener restaurant. Though it is not quite visible at first time it is not going to stop you going again once you been there and experience the hospitality. The atmosphere is so unique in nature perhaps that's why they call it as wiener restaurant. My choice is limited to drinks because of vegetarianism :( but they have lot of good menu to taste if your interest is authentic wiener dish, having said that people who are vegetarian do have options to try. We had a simple breakfast here because we got off in the wrong tram stop (number 5), and we really liked It. The food was good, the waitress was very kind que helpful, and It wasn't expensive. Opens around 08:00, so it's one of the very few cafes that opens early. Great if you want to start the day early.
