Brauhof Wien - Restaurant - Biergarten & Brauerei — Restaurant in Vienna

The restaurant posted that they open until 11:30 pm. We chose this restaurant for that reason. We arrived about 9:45 pm. No one greeted us at the front entrance so we found our way to the garden in the rear to learn hat the garden was closing in 15 minutes. The wait staff was racing around as if they were on roller skates. Finally, someone told us to choose a table inside.. After sitting and wondering if anyone knew we were there, a waitress came and informed us that the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes, and did we want to eat? I ordered a Ceasar salad and asked about the wines. She showed me where they were on the menu. The others in my party ordered, and she gathered up the menus and sped away. It was noisy in the restaurant and I had to call her back to the table in an embarrassingly loud voice.. My brother ordered a salad without eggplant. The food arrived, eggplant on the salad. We're still sitting here waiting for her to come back so we can send the salad back. Everyone has finished eating. We just want to pay our bill and leave as we've been traveling all day. Would NOT recommend. I appreciate the fact that the servers are understaffed, but I used to be a waitress and this is ridiculous. Oh yes, and we're being bitten by bugs. And...

The waiter was quite impatient and not very kind to us, we asked for a day menu that was some sort of deal, he told us that they didn’t have it anymore. At the table next to us sat a local, the local also ordered the menu and did get it, we already ordered and felt kind of betrayed. We paid 130€ in total for a lunch with 4. Every drink was €5 which is quite expensive. The food was alright, but it wasn’t brought in one time, and the attitude the food was brought with was everything...

The hamburgers were really good according to my friends. I myself had the spareribs, which were quite dry. It tasted like it was reheated and the meet was quite stiff. You can also see this a bit on the photo that was attached. The portion size was really big so it might be best to lower the portion sizes slightly so that you can improve upon the quality.
