I usually don't like to write negative reviews especially to indipendent businesses, but this time I had to as my breakfast here ruined my last day in Vienna. A few hours after eating here I was sick with bad food poisoning and I was not surprised. Food handled with the same unwashed hands that handled cash a second before, taken from open containers in the fridge... When I saw that while waiting at my table my gut told me to not eat it but I always try to trust. The staff was super unfriendly, they got us the wrong order, and when we told them that, instead of just saying sorry they blamed us and at first they refused to serve us the right order and then reluctantly did so. I am sorry to say but please avoid, at least the breakfast, bread and pastries...

The staff is rude, firstly the woman form the patisery yelled at us (group of 4) to go to the table (not even gived us the chance to order), when i told her that we didn't order, she screamed again to go to the table. At the table another employee asked us to leave if we don't consume anything. I've tryed to tell him that we want to eat, his workmate sent us to the table and didn't allow us to order. But he start to scream that we have to leave if we don't consume anything. I didn't understand what was wrong with the employees from this place, sooo angry at 9:30 am in the morning. Maybe because we were tourists they did not accepted us. The worst...

I visited for breakfast today and observed that the girl working there appeared overwhelmed with her tasks, seemingly too much for one person to handle.

Regrettably, her colleague wearing glasses was just standing around, engrossed in a phone conversation, which came across as quite unfriendly.

However, the hardworking girl herself was consistently smiling and working efficiently, despite a slight wait. In summary, it was an excellent breakfast experience, particularly for a tourist...

Very nice local bakery offering wide choice of traditional pastries, breads and good coffee. No labels or prices at counter nor an English menu so a little awkward if not familiar with German but good value. Also has plenty of seating. Despite language barrier and slight mix up in order, a special vielen danke to the waitress whom was very friendly with quick service, didn't catch her name, even offered us a free kipferl each on way out which was a lovely kind gesture. Highly recommended!

This bakery was next door to the hotel we were staying at. Our hotel offered breakfast but didn’t have pastries so I skipped and came here. I had to point to each pastry for her to give me a description. I ended up with Maraner Nusskipferl which has a nut filling. It was too nutty for me that I only ate the dough. Also got the topfengatschen which has a sweet cream cheese filling. My favorite that I ended up getting this throughout my stay.
