We walked into a spacious, quiet, and uncrowded restaurant. Only two tables were occupied. One had customers, and the other was apparently being used by the owner's family. All seemed happy and talkative. The setting felt very sentimental. It seemed this family also lived there, as we could see signs of residence in adjacent rooms. It smelled incredible inside, and we couldn't wait to eat. There were vivid paintings that, I suppose, were of Eritrean people and culture. But I also tried the traditional dish of injera with vegetables, lentil, salad, some sort of curry ish like soup and cooked meat (15 euro, serves 1). I would definitely come back to try...
Read moreWell, it took them a little while to get us our food, but once it came it was absolutely incredible!!! We ordered the platter for two and it was a LOT of food. The flavors and everything for me were out of this world! 😍 I enjoyed every bite and ate until I was super full! And they got us a free coffee and tea, and a shot of ouzo for the long wait time. So all in all I very much enjoyed myself!
Update; I came again and the food was just as amazing and came super quick! Love this...
