Very sorry, but I cannot agree with the good reviews. Overpriced – slow – food mediocre.
First of all, you walk through a rather big restaurant that is totally empty, to end up in a kind of nice but also rather empty outdoor seating area. Feels kind of weird already.
Then, the food: the veggie dumplings were almost burnt on the bottom and the texture overall not great, filling a bit too salty but otherwise tasty. The cucumber salad was quite good, though also heavy on the salt. Now, the Lamien soups: The highlight were the handmade noodles, which unfortunately swam in an oil-heavy broth that tasted like nothing but chili… I wish there was more of the beef broth taste! Duck and beef themselves were not spectacular, but not bad either.
2 Stars overall because of food being okay but way too expensive for what you get and for the fact that we waited 30 minutes for the soups (in addition to the time waiting for and eating the appetizers!). There’s better...

Yet another disappointing Asian restaurant in Vienna, and this one really tried to dress itself up. They proudly claim their specialty is a beef noodle soup with hand-pulled noodles. The only flavor I could identify was chili spiciness. The beef broth was so absent, I briefly considered asking for salt. Truly one of the saddest noodle soups I’ve eaten in the city. I’ve had breakups with more depth. I’ve been to far superior Chinese noodle spots in swanky districts 1 and 4, with even more reasonable fares. I only came here because an Austrian friend recommended it. Should’ve known better. After eating, I looked around and realized I was practically the only Asian in the restaurant. Should’ve known better. I left with a regret of my...
Read moreThese people definitely know how to do their job. Noodles had a nice texture and thickness and the Za Jiang Moan was honestly the best Chinese noodle dish I tried in Vienna so far. Wantan dumplings with Sichuan sauce were also very tasty, maybe just slightly saltier than usual, but very nice both in texture and flavor. The staff was super kind and helpful and could speak English perfect, hospitality was top notch. For those who live in this district it's a must to come here and for those who live far, maybe it's a worth trip as well although with all honesty it's probably not the best Chinese restaurant in the whole Vienna but it definitely deserves its praise and it is worth its salt. Yeah, idiomatic expressions aside, the prices were super honest and I got way more than I what expected in quality and quantity. So approved with high...
