Das Augustin — Restaurant in Vienna

One of my favourite restaurant in Vienna! Better than the legendary and super famous restaurants! The food is absolute heaven, the service is incredibly nice and kind, even though perhaps waiting time could be reduced but the place was super crowded when we were there. We probably waited around an hour, we were starving, but when the food came, we almost burst into tears haha.

We ordered wiener schnitzel and Augustin burger. The wiener schnitzel came with potato salad. I have to say I've never tried something like this potato salad. But it paired perfectly with the pork schnitzel. Warm and cold together. Hearty warm pork schnitzel with cold fresh potatoes. Yuuumm! And the Augustin burger was also perfect!

Service was excellent, with very friendly staff. I found the people in Vienna incredibly friendly. Mind you, Austrian people are known to be unfriendly based on what people say in social media..but coming there myself, they truly are the best.

A lovely restaurant offering delicious breakfast and brunch options, along with a range of refreshing drinks. The restaurant also has outdoor seating in its charming, hidden courtyard. The service might also be some of the best I've experienced in Vienna, with very friendly and prompt staff.

Highly recommend the Go Vegan dish, which comes with a veggie wrap and an amazing porridge. I also had the Pink grapefruit prosecco drink, which was equally delicious. The omelette and Schnittlauch Brot were also very tasty.

My family and me went there for a late mother's day brunch. A couple of different breakfast variants are available. If you want something extra or changed, that's no problem at all.

The caté au lait comes in a big bowl. You can choose from different kinds of bread and milk as well. Such as rye bread and soy milk. I don't know the English names for the other kinds. Look it up from the pictures of the menu that I will upload.

Staff were friendly and are apparently used to answering lots of questions as well as dealing with people who want 'this' instead of 'that'. :)
