Psychoterror! Very mean and egoistic chef who raised his voice at me and traumatised me and my family, because I asked if we could change seats and were seated by his waitress. We asked him and said no, not knowing he was the chef (if we did, we would have never asked again, but his ego is so high that he thinks we all know he is the manager) we asked the nice waitress who accepted as in many establishments waiters serve differently. This is not how a manager who is confident acts. Clear communication needs to be between waiter and chef, where waitress should always ask chef, so it is the establishment's fault and should be solved internally. We did NOT seat ourselves and if we did, the chef would have been right. The man took it as a sign of disrespect where none of that was meant and lashed out at me, whereas a communication between staff should have taken place. He also started gossiping to other clients about what happened, which is very unprofessional. As I entered the WC, I also saw him waiting at the entrance. Could be that he went to the kitchen, but I felt followed as a woman. The waitress also seemed very sad about all of this incident and told us confidentially that the chef scolded her. She was the only one who apologised. The chef comes and provokes me while we are peacefully sitting, raising his voice and making odd provokative hand gestures that he did not appreciate what I did and that I am not elegant. He made me shake and feel unsafe as a woman. I had to ask he leave the table as I was scared he will become physical. Very sad, how a place I always visited for nice food, as well as super nice waitresses, was portrayed in a chef that is so egoistic that he provokes at his customers when an internal problem of communication is at stake. My constructive feedback is to work on clear communication with your staff instead of scolding at paying customers and making them feel UNSAFE. But as you said in your own words, you don't care about us. It shows. 0 customer service and very shameful. You ruined my sister's birthday. Who do you think you are, a Michelin restaurant? You are a small restaurant serving locals. We never meant to provoke anyone and came to celebrate a birthday and have a nice time, as we usually do here. We are very distressed and still under schock about this situation and expect a formal apology due to this...

We walked in to live music, a great atmosphere, and a very appetizing smell coming from the kitchen! Unfortunately we reserved our table very last minute, so we were seated in the very back, but we absolutely enjoyed being there!
We all ordered pizza, which was by far one of the better pizzas ive had- the sauce was amazing.
we did have a little trouble with the menu of pasta dishes, as it was only written in Italian (no German or English translations), and our waitress didn't seem to be able to properly translate it, and google translate also wasn't up to the task. Other tables ordered items off that menu and they all looked amazing.
I will definitely be going back here during my next...
Read moreThe atmosphere, the service and the food were all amazing! It's small and cozy but doesn't feel crammed. It feels homely. The owner is also incredibly nice. I had a pizza and, even though I'm an Italian citizen myself, it might have well been one of the best pizzas I've ever had. It's not Neapolitan style, but central to north Italian instead. Truly wonderful.
I would recommend Donna Rosa to everyone looking for some amazing Italian food for an...
