Great food selection but didn’t have good service. I was there one weekday mid-afternoon. Not crowded but there was a man waiting behind me. The lady who was serving me, handled me my beverage and dropped a food item, which was displayed on the glass display surface. The shop was displaying Xmas food out from the normal display and left little space for customers to pick up their eat-in food. The lady was panicked (as the man behind was waiting) and she gave me a bad stare and a hand signal. I recently visited this bakery, and my experience was a mixed bag. The cement pastry they offered was surprisingly sweet, which I found to be a unique and interesting flavor. I had an extremely unpleasant experience with the service. The person who attended to me seemed completely impatient when dealing with someone speaking English, which was already frustrating. Moreover, their attitude clearly displayed xenophobic behavior, making me feel even more uncomfortable. Honestly, I didn’t expect that, in Austria, there would still be people with such an archaic mentality, reminiscent of a man with a mustache whose party carried a swastika. It’s shameful to see this kind of attitude in the 21st century.
