CAUTION, enter at your own risk! Another restaurant on my list that leaves me wondering about the conformism levels of some people in Vienna; Apparently, any average restaurant seems like the best thing they have eaten. The staff did not give a darn about being inviting, which I’m believing is the rule in several restaurants in Vienna. To put it mildly, you’d better have something from the fridge at home and for the value, nobody should pay this much money to be sad. There’s V for Vegan, GF for Gluten Free, and some places like this should add NT for No Taste and RO for ripoff. Not recommended! My dish tasted as they had simmered it in soy sauce for days to a bony mush, my husband’s dish was chewy, tasteless, and cold as an ice cube. When compared to other Vietnamese restaurants, Good morning Vietnam contributes little to Vienna’s dining scene. Ps: add 1 Euro for a glass of tap water

The restaurant looks nice, the food is presented well, I’ve spend some lovely time with my family here. However, I was quite disappointed from the taste of the “Bun Nem noodles with chicken rolls” that I’ve ordered, as the noodles weren’t seasoned at all and they were supposed to be accompanied by a “fresh herbs salad”, which turned out to be a normal green salad with some carrots and some very few herbs. The best way to describe this dish would be: boring. Maybe the plate would be more suitable as a small entry, but, in my opinion, definitely not for a main dish with the stiff price of 14,50€.

We'd been wanting to come here for a while, but for reasons that should be obvious to everyone there was a bit of a delay. Once the opportunity finally bid we were not disappointed. The wonderfully attentive staff helped us pronounce the names of the dishes, could recommend both food and the most suitable beverage - and they also had a great sense of humour. Unlike the couple on the next table who found our jolly conversation not to their liking. Anyway: we will definitely come again!
