main course: the food is very delicious, especially the roasted veg sided the steak, they are roasted in a very careful way that the sweet inside the veg comes out at the same time has the roasted and smoky smell. also love the berry sauce coming together with schnitzels. the schnitzels are juicy inside and crunchy outside, very good ones starter: the soups are perfect, but for those who don’t usually put salt in meal may find them a bit salty tho dessert: the apple puree has to be my favourite coz its fresh and not sugarly sweet at all, perfect match to the Kaiserschmarrn. the other one I forgot the german name but theres ice cream inside and its very tasty, highly recommended for those have sweet tooth staff are very friendly 🥰, they always smile and give quick response overall the restaurant is very tidy and clean only con here is i was way too full that night, the size of the dishes are larger than i expected

I had the zandfilet (perch), my friend had the beef goulash with dumplings. Male waitstaff gave us a lukewarm welcome but could just be an off day. Onto the food, which was truly disappointing. Perch fillets were mid, grey in color with the skin half soggy. Had many bones still in each piece, with the potatoes just dumped and boiled in water before sliced up and served. Goulash itself was fine, except the dumpling came out mushy and morphed into what I could only describe as a giant piece of blue tack, clumpy and unappetising. The old lady was however very friendly, so we thank her for salvaging an awful first impression of a highly rated restaurant.

Delicious food, warm service, and one of the best Apple Strudels in Vienna. I had the Schweinemedaillons auf Eierschwammerlsauce — perfectly cooked pork medallions in a rich chanterelle sauce — and finished with their Apple Strudel, which was beautifully presented and absolutely incredible. Flaky, warm, not overly sweet — easily one of the best I’ve had in Vienna. The lady here and the staff were very friendly and made the experience even better. Cozy, welcoming atmosphere with food that feels both comforting and carefully prepared. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.
