I took my 9 month old daugther to the museum, and altough she had a lot of fun playing with other kids, I can’t say a lot of good things about the museum. It’s basically a children playhouse with ocean theme. You can bring kids there to play after they’ve mastered crawling, but it is more interesting for older kids (3-4 years). The staff is there only to make some entry note in German (regardless of knowing there are some people in the group that do not understand German at all). If you are expecting some play and learn kind of interaction with your kid, it will be on you to show them everything. Some items are really used and the place in general needs a bit of a “facelift”. Anyway, kids can have fun in a lot of open playground all around Vienna, so no need to bother to wait in the line...

Such an absolutely wonderful place for children to learn! We attended a class in the atelier and had a fun time creating beautiful art. My son especially enjoyed it as he still talks about it over a month later! The teachers were so great with the kids and explained everything to them so well. Such an interactive, hands-on class. An absolute joy! And although the class was 99% in German, and we speak zero German, we still were able to follow along and make due. Luckily the instructor spoke English and could answer any questions we had but it was a straight forward class. (We had the pleasure of attending the "Be a Plaster Master" class...

Two of my sons went to this and both of them like it. Just that one of my 4 years old son was not being explained properly because everything explained in Germany not in English. And he was in the wood session which I think they should explain everything to us in English specially for the safety purpose. We felt left out in the whole process. I’m quite disappointed on this. So if you decided to go with your kids and you don’t understand the language maybe you have to think again. I’m thinking maybe we are the only one who don’t understand so they didn’t explain to us . Cause my other son went to other art session and they do...
