Restaurant week visit / Restaurantwoche I can't say how it usually is when it's à la carte but during the current restaurant week my visit was an absolute disappointment.

The food was good, but pretty small and nothing outstanding but definitely enjoyable!

The interior design is really nice, however it gets very very loud inside which ruined the ambiance for me personally.

The most disappointing part was the staff/service - nobody comes to check on you, asks if you want another drink or more water. After waiting already 1,5 hours (had 2 starters so far nothing else) suddenly the dessert arrived - they forgot our mains - so waited for ages again to get our mains. A mumbled sorry was all they had to say about it.

Next time i am looking for "scandinavian feeling" in Vienna i rather pop to Ikea Westbahnhof - spend the same amount of money and go home with a full belly, a smile on my face and a bag full of candles, napkins and new...

This is a great restaurant with a lot of potential, but a few details fall short. They aim to create the feeling of elite dining experience, but certain elements didn’t match that expectation. Our table still had crumbs from previous guests when we were seated. We ordered two different starters and the same main course. For the starters, while the ingredients were clearly high quality, both starters lacked seasoning, turning the appetizers quite blend. On the other hand, the main dish was absolutely delicious. Relaxed dinner and good cocktails in a pleasant setting. We had the pleasure of dining at Hemma on a Saturday night. It was the autumn restaurant week in Vienna and unfortunately the a la carte menu was not available, only the 4-dish set menu offering a choice of either the meat and fish or the vegetarian option. Even though I would have preferred to have more choice we still had a great dinner. The food was cooked perfectly. We especially liked the salmon tartar and the beef steak.
