Moment Cafe and Restaurant — Restaurant in Vienna

We are, up to this very moment, still very baffled how this eatery got its 4.9 star.

The location is nearby the Belvedere or about 10min walk from the Wien M ain Station. It is a super small eatery with only about 4 tables inside. We were there early and so there wasn't many customers. We were greeted by the very friendly & smiley owner (i presume). We ordered the garlic cream soup, a Greek Salad, a grilled veggie plate & 2 drinks. Came to EUR32/USD35. Food was also served fast.

OK, so far, location and service were good. But when the soup came and we tasted it, it tasted like canned soup. I am no food connoisseur, but even i can tell it does not taste like freshly cooked soup. The Greek Salad and the Grilled Veggie plate came next. Greek Salad: looked "anaemic", a big bowl of pale lettuce, some onions, few thin slices of tomatoes, some olives and hardly any feta cheese. Not even a slice of bread to accompany the salad. Grilled Veggie plate: when i saw some of the reviews saying they used frozen veggies, i thought those comments were nasty. But boy, they were correct. Again, i am no food expert but even i can tell those were frozen cut veggies. However, the parsley herb potatoes tasted great.

We were however, very entertained by a group of customers, who were tasting the soups they ordered, nodding in amazement, like the soup was some 5-star Michelin gourmet.

I really tried not to be too nasty with my review, because the owners were really a very nice couple. But i really cannot lie...

This is one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that Moments Cafe and Restaurant is a special place. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure that every guest feels welcomed and well taken care of. You can truly tell that they care about the quality of the food and the overall experience people have.

While the restaurant is quite small and you might have to wait to get a table, I promise you it will be worth the wait. The intimate setting adds to the charm, and the staff’s warm hospitality makes the time fly by. Once seated, you'll quickly realize why this place is so popular. Not only is everyone incredibly nice, but the food is absolutely delicious. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor, clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.

And to complete the trifecta, the prices are very reasonable! It's rare to find a place that offers such a fantastic combination of service, food quality, and affordability. Moments Cafe and Restaurant is a true gem, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is a dining experience you won’t want to miss. Five stars...

Perfect. You know that tourists are always looking for nice restaurants in terms of taste, atmosphere, cleanness as well as services. This place is, Best schnitzel in my life! so fresh and not that salty, and potato and sauce was awesome Clean and cozy place, can relax there, of course The service and kindness of the owner is excellent enough ! He keeps caring customers while cooking and hall serving. Since the owner chef covers everything, food will be a little bit slowly served, but he told me which food might be served faster, and which are a bit slower. Have a glass of wine and relax until food is coming! You will never be disappointed. (The pancake soup is perfect with a glass of wine and it makes your body warm enough!)

I would like to go figlmuller for the first time, but I saw the reviews that they are racist, and putting Asians together in very back side, and ask for tips even they did awful to them. Ridiculous.

So I choose to visit here, and it is worth it !! Thanks so much for giving me wonderful memories in Vienna, and I'll definitely visit...
