From the moment you step into Daniel Bakery, you're greeted with the comforting aroma of freshly baked goods and a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Nestled in the heart of Vienna, this charming bakery effortlessly combines traditional Austrian baking techniques with modern culinary creativity, resulting in an exceptional dining experience.

The ambiance is a perfect blend of rustic charm and contemporary elegance. The cozy seating, coupled with the friendly and attentive staff, creates an environment that is both relaxing and vibrant. Whether you're here for a quick breakfast, a leisurely brunch, or an afternoon coffee break, Daniel Bakery provides the ideal setting.

The menu is a delightful journey through a wide array of pastries, breads, and savory dishes. Each item is crafted with the highest quality ingredients, ensuring every bite is a burst of flavor. The croissants are flaky and buttery, rivaling those of the finest Parisian patisseries. Their sourdough bread, with its perfect crust and tender crumb, is a testament to the bakery’s dedication to artisanal baking.

For those with a sweet tooth, the selection of cakes and pastries is nothing short of heavenly. The Sachertorte, a Viennese classic, is rich and decadent, while the seasonal fruit tarts are light and refreshing. Pair any of these with a cup of their expertly brewed coffee, and you have a match made in heaven.

One of the standout features of Daniel Bakery is its commitment to sustainability and local sourcing. The ingredients are often locally sourced, supporting regional farmers and producers, which not only enhances the freshness of the food but also reflects a genuine respect for the environment.

In addition to the delightful food and beverages, the bakery also offers a variety of homemade jams, spreads, and other gourmet products that you can take home to extend the Daniel Bakery experience.

In conclusion, Daniel Bakery is more than just a place to eat; it’s a destination that offers an authentic taste of Vienna's rich culinary heritage, infused with contemporary flair. Whether you're a local or a visitor, a trip to Daniel Bakery is sure to be a memorable and satisfying experience. Highly...

Most irresponsible receptionists, would write the billing address wrong despite giving displaying a printed copy of address, wouldnt change the wrong address, no one at desk at 4 am and have to catch a flight at 8 am good that I paid earlier but the receipt had adress wrong and it is a pre invoice receipt not actual one, just horribly irresponsible. Actual receipt will be given on checkout it and daid that "someone will be at the desk always“ despite crlearly mentioning time of the checkout during the payment. In the whole very disappointed in the way receptionists are in here. very disappointed paying while paying the bill, stayed for 9 nights, booked smart category for all the 9 nights and I get a call on the day of checkin that smart category is overbooked, would you be willing to stay in the air streamer (trailer) for 1 night, I thought it would be good to experience the air streamer trailer for a night and it sucked. Right next to the busy road, though the trailer interior is cosy, the road is noisy and who baths in a bath tub where you can hear people talking outside. And worse of all only a complementary drink for the downgrade and no REDUCTION in the fare. Well, to me the company pays the bill so I had nothing to gain from the reduction but this is so cheap. I have no idea how both smart and trailer have same price in the first place and trailer is not considered a downgrade. For those who plan on staying long in the hotel know that the smart category has no wardrobe in room and washing clothes is pricy, no access to washing machines. Other than that the hotel has a good bread options in breakfast. The interiors are good in the restaurant and also in the room but the roof of the room has a kind of unfinished look. Maybe meant to be quirky. The locatiom...

Unsanitary Practices and Unprofessional Behavior!

I recently visited Daniel Bakery and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. One of the most concerning aspects was the lack of hygiene observed in the handling of food. The cakes, which should have been a delightful treat, were being cut with a knife that was placed in standing water; it's common knowledge that stagnant water is a breeding ground for bacteria, yet this basic principle of food safety was disregarded.

When I raised this issue with the waiter, I was met with a dismissive and rude attitude. Instead of acknowledging the valid concern regarding food safety, the waiter chose to deflect and insinuate that my complaint stemmed from the fact that I am Ukrainian! This response was not only unprofessional but also completely irrelevant to the matter at hand.

It's baffling why anyone would think it acceptable to use a knife that has been submerged in water to cut food, especially in a commercial setting where hygiene should be a top priority. The fact that my legitimate concern was met with such hostility only adds to the disappointment of my dining experience.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend Daniel Bakery due to their unsanitary practices and unprofessional behavior. It's crucial for any food establishment to prioritize hygiene and customer service, neither of which were demonstrated...

There is nothing worse than having lunch and watching staff vacuum cleaning the floors !! in the middle of the afternoon! with noise in your ears and dust in your nose! This tells that the management of this hotel restaurant is so below and beyond any standards. The orders are mismanaged, forgotten, delayed constantly here, sauces are brought after the food has bene served and with massive delay, the food is served cold! and it is not like the place is full. I mean it is a big mess in every aspect. Maybe it was good before the covid mess, but now it is a complete disaster and it is headed for a failure for sure! I am never eating here again for sure. and cannot recommend it to anyone especially given their prices you will not get your money worth here for sure.

Stayed at Daniel Hotel in Vienna and would stay again on any return trip. All the staff were fantastic, polite, friendly, helpful and fun. Hotel Daniel is described as an Urban hotel and the decor may not be to everyone's taste and if it isn't (it was for us) the staff, breakfast, ambience and location make up for it. Breakfast is a must, DO NOT GO ROOM ONLY or you will miss the experience of a fab breakfast to set you up for the day. Also best Burgers any of us have had in years if not ever. Thanks to everyone at Hotel Daniel for a great week!
