I visited Restaurant Sokrates on a Sunday night with my girlfriend and without a reservation. Even though it was quite busy, we were seated promptly and the waiter was very polite and professional. He always made sure our requests were fulfilled and checked in on us frequently to ensure everything was to our liking.

We ordered a variety of dishes, including Spanakopita, Greek salad, lamb souvlaki, and Kritharaki. The food was delicious and authentic, and the portions were generous. The prices were also fair, and the fact that card payment was allowed was a plus.

The restaurant has a beautiful Greek theme that feels authentic and familiar without being cheesy. The tables have white and blue tablecloths that add to the overall ambiance of the restaurant. It was a pleasant and comfortable dining experience.

Quite cozy place. The stuff was very friendly and brought everything we asked quite fast. The food was good enough. We didn't try much. A Greek dish called giouvetai was very good, even though it was a very small portion, served in a tiny ceramic ball. The fried cheese was amazing and so were the French fries. The fish soup was awful though so we had it returned (even though I think we paid for it in the end). The bill was a bit pricy but then again we did consume enough alcohol for it to be so. I kept expecting apologies or to get something for free to compensate for the bad soup tasting but it never happened and thus the poor rating... the kitchen closes at 10.30 and the bar at 12. At that time the parking is free so there is space to park at night quite close to the restaurant. I will definitely give them another chance next time I visit to see if my rating is...

We LOVE this local Greek restaurant. The service is always excellent and the food is INCREDIBLE. The value for the price is insane. The quantity of food on the plate is great! I've had the Gyros and was so happy to know that it was GF as Gyros is not made in a wrap here. The lamb chops are soooo good, and the tomato soup is to die for. The salmon steak is probably one of the tastiest pieces of salmon ive ever had! And I always make sure to order anything with a side of tsaitziki, this is a 5/5 for us everything we visit.
