Starting dish: there’s a very nice texture to the starting dish with the eggplant on the sauce. They do only give you one piece of bread, but it’s full of flavor and its tastes. Very nice so I’ll have to say.

In terms of the service I am here very early at 5:30 so it’s a little bit random the waiters are having cigs and conversations but it’s all very friendly. I asked for more bread for my greeting from the kitchen dish and she came back with an entire basket.

as for the main dish, I had the spaghetti with clams. The spaghetti was unfortunately over cooked and absolutely drenched in garlic oil. it should be garlicky, but there’s so much garlic in there, that you could barely differentiated between the spaghetti and garlic. As for the clams, they are poorly cooked lots of broken shells, which is not good, some get inside the clams and in your mouth. It is unfortunate, as it is my favourite dish.

They lastly gave me a pistachio desert to try, which was a pastry roll filled with a creamy pistachio sauce. Texture was great and the taste was stunning. As someone who doesn’t really like pistachio i was very impressed. Homemade too apparently!

Overall it could be improved in terms of the food. The prices are good, and the garden outside is lovely. But I was not fully satisfied...

**FYI: They only take reservations, so call first to reserve your seats!

We stayed in Austria and Hungary for 10 days, and this restaurant was the best! It was our 2nd trial to visit this restaurant, because we didn't know they only take customers who made reservations in advance. BTW, all food from appetizer to dessert was perfect! It is very quiet and charming atmosphere in the restaurant, and the service was great too! Definitely 1000000000000% recommend this place! You can bring your special people to this place! They are very fluent in German, Italian and English, and they will introduce each menu in person. I guess they change menu frequently, but we had spicy shrimp salad as appetizer, octopus with veggies, and pasta with bacon and sausage as main menu, and crispy cannoli as dessert! All of them were fantastic!! We had a wine and mocktail too, wine was just okay but...

Worst experience ever! The food were okey, I ordered risotto, actually it was delicious but the waiter were extremely rude. When I arrived there, I didn't make a reservation. I asked that there is table for me and they said it's fully booked but I could sit a table has a high chair in front of the door and there is out side of tables inside of the restaurant and I wanted to looked around because no one was there (I went there right after they start the dinner) but the waiter told me "there is no table for you" and he tried kicked out of the restaurant . After I got my dishes they never care about me. Also, Even I paid for water which I didn't order lastly, I felt really bad at his attitude when I want to pay with credit card so I didn't give him tips but he asked me give some tips . He definitely doesn't...

My son works for awesome family owned special romantic spot in 4th District, Vienna...I was invited by my son for a 'special treat'. Took awesome pics of the outside area capturing the uniqueness of this haven. Summer dining under stars above is just heavenly. Food is above BETTER.. owner Chef Willie spoils one with his creations...partner Lissie will guide you through wine selections and best menu options. Small but mouth watering menu. Dominik (son) alternates with other waiter per evening...he is the most attentive, anticipating and entertaining addition to ANY local. Quite a treat. Quaint and very European feel sitting in the courtyard under lights in summer... also inside seating durin winter. A must go to spot...!! Highly recommend this restaurant.

I liked how casual waiters were and their customer way of handling things. Food is delecious. Try their Marillen Bock drink, I liked it. Deducting one star for this Gedeck thing + being smartass. When one orders two pastas, expect 2.5 Eur per person for the table covering. That would be fine, but smartass includes typical money-begging phrase from the same nice waitress: "Do you know tips are not included in Austria?". Smartass. Update: I was having trauma 1 year after, reminiscing about this waiter. Horrible memories overfilled me and I felt that he doesn't deserve 4 stars. Deducting to 2, because of messing up my nice feelings for this restaurant
