In a quiet corner on the outskirts of the main city of Vienna, close to the train station, we came across this little rustic inn/pub serving authentic Viennese food. We tried their goulash and wienershnitzel with mixed salad and roast potatoes. And for dessert we got the Apple Strudel. It’s like a home cooked meal your mother or grandmother would make. You won’t leave hungry. It was absolutely delicious. There was a woman who served us, I think she runs the place on her own, gave such a homey and welcoming service. She didn’t speak much English, so be prepared to use google translator or point on the menu what you want. It’s also cash only, so make sure to bring some. We would definitely come back here again....

Quality food and nicely sized portions, lots of newspapers to be found too. The interior is nice and tidy, fast service too.

Really nice and warm atmosphere, and many local elders come here and gather with their friends.
