So first off, we're Americans and when our family took us to Salzberg for spare ribs, we were hesitant, because we always believed we have had the best ribs (we live in Chicago and we travel to Texas often), so we have our share of amazing ribs. And let me say, we were 100% wrong. Salzberg's spare ribs - NO JOKE - were the best ribs I have ever had, my wife has ever had and my business partner has ever had. It was absolutely unbelievably delicious. They were perfect. The were slightly crispy on the outside, but the most tender and delicious meat that pulled off the bone like it wasn't even attached. On top of the jaw-dropping and mouth watering food, the service we had was so welcoming and warm. The gentleman taking care of us was attentive when needed and stayed away when we were in conversation. So it was a perfect dining experience. One final note about the food - my business partner requires her food to be gluten-free and often it can be difficult to find good food in places that fits her dietary restrictions. The ribs, the appetizers, and everything she had that was gluten-free she said was some of the best of anything she'd ever had. If I ever come back to Vienna, this will be the first meal I get when I get into town and it will be the final meal before I leave. Thank you!!

Skip the breakfast at your hotels and get the brunch here. Or just hop in , i dont know if they serve brunch everyday but on sundays for sure. And this brunch was one of the best ive had. Everything tasted so good and they got plenty of choices from bread to warm stews, eggs, waffles, sallad, fruits and more. Hot drinks not included in the price. We paid like 17,5 euro for brunch. Staff is really good too. This brunch was a truly winner in Wien.

Great place. We needed Schnitzel dinner near our hotel, so looked up this place and travelled 20 mins to this place for the nice reviews. And it didn't let is down. The service was super friendly and quick, the prices are moderate and food is good with generous portions.

Salzberg was the best thing that could have happened on our first trip to Vienna. The staff were very friendly and despite being busy gave us the perfect amount of time. They warned us the menu was in German, but gave us time and answered any questions we had about the menu. Our portions were large, but... we definitely ate it all because it was so delicious. Simple bacon and eggs and an omelette came in the pan they were cooked in which ensured they were hot and delicious. Each dish was accompanied with various breads as well as amazing Nutella, butter and homemade marmalade. As budgeted backpackers, the price was...
