Ullmann's Zuckerbäckerei — Restaurant in Vienna

Attempted to have breakfast in this café twice while visiting Vienna, but unfortunately there were no tables available, which speaks to how good this café must be. That is unless you're buying any of their large selection of chocolates and cookies that are laid out as you enter the café. The price of these are ridiculous for sub-par treats. A small box of cookies was €17 (and they go up from there) but they are so average that you'd find tastier cookies in Lidl for €3. This is not hyperbole. The chocolate is also very average but the prices are extraordinary! I don't post reviews, but these products were so overpriced and so underwhelming that people need to know. Avoid. Overcharge tourists! Extremely rude older waiter in black glasses clearly hating life. Impatient and rude and overcharge. Oh and they don’t have prices on English menu! No wonder. Don’t think they like tourists. Beware! Very sneaky. I ordered bacon and eggs he pretended not to hear me then charged me extra €4 for bacon saying I asked for extra when it was supposed to come with eggs which I did not! I went back told him he overcharged me, his colleague helped me. He actually came outside as I went out, swore at me as I was leaving and told me not to come back! Who does that in 2024!? We came here for breakfast. My vegan tacos were very nice - great composition, fresh ingredients, awesome presentation. I'm guessing they are an Austrian variation on tacos, as they were not crispy and made out of cornflower, but rather soft and made out of wholewheat sourdough. So that was quite interesting to try! And I loved it.

English menu does not have prices, so you have to look into the German one if you want to know those.
