Bahamian Bistro — Restaurant in New Providence

Their Tacos was Awesome along with the taco bowls and sushi. The wings was a 5/10 for me and my crew. As a Chef being my profession The Fettuccine could of been cooked better and not dry and season especially if we didn't want no meat and just vegetables. I was visiting I've never been to the place I was brought there by a friend and didn't mind trying it out.. what got me was when they were trying to explain things to the servers being in hospitality you gotta listen to your customers. Their attitudes towards us was awful because we had a problem with our food . You can imagine 3 chefs at a table not complaining but would like the food to be served better at least .. there was this one server she manage to serve us after. If I ask a server what's the made a certain source with because of allergy your response should never be i don't know that's their sauce i don't go in their kitchen. I've also work Front of the house and hearing and seeing this was a red Flag especially how I'm working at a multi Billionaire company. On July 1, 2022 my friends and I decided that we visit Bahamian Bistro for lunch for the first time. We arrived at the restaurant shortly after 3 p.m. . Upon arriving at the restaurant we was greeted and was told that we could have chosen a table of our choice which we did. We then placed our drinks order which was a Arnold Palmer drink but a comment was made by one of the employees and I quote where these people come ordering these Christian drinks. If that was not bad enough we order our food which was 2 seafood wraps one with Cajun fries, the other with sweet potato fries and a Philly cheesesteak wraps with Cajun fries along with some appetizers. Upon receiving our food order we began to enjoy our lunch which we could not enjoy because there was a ROACH in the food Yes A BIG ROACH. So we decided to call the waitress over to show her instead of a manager coming out to address the situation they sent the waitress out stating that they would removed one of the meals off the check and my replied to the waitress was can I please see a manager to time A MANAGER OF NOT CAME TO ADDRESS THE SITUATION. Lunch at the bistro for my best friend's birthday was beautiful. The place was so beautifully decorated with the colorful ambience and outdoor hangout. The food was delicious!! The drinks were awesome!!! The service was friendly. The only think that disturbed me was the waitress was a bit clustered with orders that she forgot to take our drink order and when we went to the bartender to order ourselves, he told us we have to wait for the waitress (whom we could already see she had her hands full). So we had no choice but to wait. Also we mentioned to 3 different people that the fan above us was facing the ceiling and not serving its purpose as we were very hot and the weather was humid.
