We are regular patrons of David's restaurant and would have scored higher had it not for the following issues.. The food is generally v.good but the service let the score down. Waiters were polite and enthusiastic but not efficient..there were 2 of us for dinner..eg of the service issues: • orders 1 starter 2 mains.. one main arrived in 5 minutes, 10 minutes later starter was served 30 minutes later the 2nd main arrived after enquiry and pointing out that my partner had already finished the meal while mine was still not served !! The waiter's response was a question if i had requested the meals to be served at the same time ?? Duh !! • waiters were not attentive. While waiting for the food, had to literally get up to call one. •saw an incident at the table next to us. anther couole ordered fish (off the bone) and after considerable time a large whole fish dish was served and heard the waiter saying that a by mistake the fish served is on the bone and if they wanted to return it !! Clearly having waited over 30 minutes they said it's ok they want to eat..while not related to our service, none the less confirmed our impression 5and the score for the service (be it waiter or kitchen error). •The waiters were kind enough to offer us a complimentary desert for the inconvenience of having to dine 'alone' after my companion had finished the meal. We like the restaurant and will return but such issues take away the pleasure out the experience and disappointing in a such a high calibre...

Don't judge the book by it's cover!

The place from outside doesn't look outstanding and the place isn't big, but it delivers an uppercut indeed! Both in flavour and price.

We booked a seat before we came and the table management was excellent we were given the best chairs! And the call service was excellent.

Now once we arrived we were welcomed and the hospitality was excellent, let's just say service is excellent throw everything so I don't keep mentioning it a lot. The place inside is tidy and tables well organized.

We got dumblings and shrimp tempura. Both were excellent! A large tom yum soup, which is actually large we were given a whole pot enough for more than 7 bowls of soup easily!

For main dishes we got korean beef, Mongolian beef, double fried beef with yuzu and something else I can't recall and stir fried sesame honey chicken. The best were the korean and Mongolian beef. The rest were good but not outstanding I would recommend trying other things. And we got steamed rice to go with the main dishes, which was excellent.

Now they also have pork and alcoholic beverages but for religious purposes we stayed away from those.

In conclusion, I do recommend this place highly for the starters and the beef options we got. Prices are as anyother...
