The restaurant as I understood a partnership between a Bahraini and a Filipino And the employment is Indians and Filipinos It is located in a quiet and clean area with scattered restaurants but parking is limited The restaurant has large areas suitable for parties and has a karaoke area And it has a small bar area Clean and the crew is helpful but the tables and chairs are old and shaking There is nothing special in the decorations I went at lunch time on Saturday which is a holiday and the place is almost empty and the lights are half off and it stayed so until I went out I only saw a few Filipino community and crew sitting with them to chat For lunch I always advise not to order steak Except from specialized restaurants I asked for picanha steak and they told me it weighed 250 grams.!! The taste is not the best, but it is okay, but in terms of size, it is not equivalent to the value paid, and the side dish is potatoes wedges Without any other kind of vegetables and I paid around 9 BD And with taxes up to 11 and something. I should have gone to TGI FRIDAY The value is high for the place and the food and it is not suitable for what is...
Read moreJust got back and here is the brief run-down: -Salad bar was lacking - looked like it was thrown together from someone's fridge (case in point I noticed a bowl of Doritos as one of the "salad bar" items) -Noticed I wasn't getting any meat from the grill...finally told waiter that we hadn't received any food and he said "ready for your main course?"...well, yes. -Once we got moving service was great...someone came by with a fresh helping of delicious meat every five minutes or so -Meat was all delicious. Bacon was beef-bacon (i think) but all meat was wonderfully cooked and tasted delicious -Sangria and Margarita were both great and we had our own little jar to enjoy so we didn't have to continuously ask for refills -Total for all you can eat all you can drink was BD 19.6 (includes any taxes, fees, etc. but does not include my tip) -Noticed that most of the staff was Asian and most of the customers were Western (most likely American)...not that that matters but just FYI -Ambiance was nice but surrounding area (i.e. alley-way) was a little shady -You can tell it's a new restaurant but I would go back...good food/drinks for...
Read moreI don't even know how to start... first of all this it's not a Brazilian Restaurant, as a Brazilian Citizen I have felt embarrassed to see an establishment misunderstanding my culture so badly. The lack of understanding about the rodizio concept is very clear, to the point that the restaurant didn't have picanha (rump cap), rice, beans, mandioca, pão de queijo (cheese bread).. this is like going to a British Fish and Chips takeaway and they don't have fish or potato!!! Or goes to an Italian Restaurant that don't serve Pizza or pasta. It's very bizarre! But the positive thing was the corn... it's probably the most expensive corn that I have bought in my life. Honestly the management need to understand that to carry on with this restaurant they need to understand the concept, at the moment it's easily the worse food experience that I ever had. I'll strongly recommend anyone that want to have a true Brazilian Rodizio Experience walk away from this place, I feel sorry for the staff, they are trying hard but are totally clueless about the food or...
