Madras Cafe — Restaurant in Bahrain Island

Really I feel sorry to say this comment, we had 2 good experience previously and so we planned to be there yesterday ( friday) along with our family friends as per or suggestions and experience in past. Started with 1 menu for 7 people where half of the menu card was filled up with cello tape. Food tood around 25 to 30 min but its fine I know its busy.

The parotta was like Rubberband cudint even chew and looks like old one, the Mix vegetable curry was like canned vegetables added taste and watery. (Realy felt like mix vegetables soup) The plates was given and cutlery we required to request and served it. 1 order was forgotten and needed to re order again.

Apart from that The Maharaja Masala dosa, paneer biryani, veg Gobi curry( Chinese style) and uttappam, and masaladosa was superb and recommended.

Not recommended: parotta and mix veg curry( personal experience.

Madras cafe.... The name itself feel full... The appearance,the staff, the food (what I ate).... Is upto the mark... We had paneer chilli dosa and Madras cafe special dosa... Paneer chilli dosa... Dosa infilled with chilli paneer and the Madras cafe special dosa infilled with mixed vegetables..paneer,mushroom,corn... And the two types of chutney and sambaar served with this dosa... Nothing to say... A pure vegetarian food and chaats are also available here... The ambience is calm and quiet. Price is fine in accordance with the quality of the food provided they also have delivery and catering services ( I guess). No special parking for this restaurant... But the front area nearby is used for parking.

TOMATO RICE- dont come here. I ordered tomato rice and I GOT colored rice with big tomato piece in it. it...

We are a regularly visits this restaurant and the quality is good but today the quality of food was pathetic and the food is also algid so we just keep the north indian thali as they serve us and we left after pay the bill also the guy who serve food to us we informed him that food has to be served hot but he ignore . So please increase your service and teach your waiter how to communicate with someone .

Also on billing counter the guy who prepare the bill is also careless he does not care about food and quality so he just gave his manager's number and told us talk to the manager . Is that a good manner to talk to a customers.

I will suggest my colleague not to visit...
